Onomat (Onomato) is one of the archetypes used by the main character of the Zexal (Tsukumo Yuma) arc. This is a supporting archetype for Yuma's main archetypes (Utopia, Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo, Zubaba)
How to play
Onomato in Duel Links is a Combo deck using Rank 4 and 6 Xyz monsters (usually Force Focus or Photon Strike Bounzer and Abyss Dweller), a strong deck when going first with a huge nagate team.

Destiny Draw allows players to access any card in the deck and draw it. This makes combos, defenses, comebacks or overwhelming the opponent more diverse in gameplay without being too dependent on luck.

Draw Sense: High-Level

Draw sense: High level is a skill that allows you to randomly draw 1 Level 5 or higher monster from the deck (if you only bring 1 monster, you will definitely draw that monster). The activation condition is very simple: you have lost 1000 points. So you can bring Cosmic Cyclone to activate this skill. In Onomat this skill is mainly used to draw Gagaga Head for outplay.

Utopic Onomatopoeia

Utopic Onomatopoeia (I will call it UO for short) is a very good support card for Yuma's main forces as it has 6 archetypes: Zubaba, Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo, Utopic, Onomat. It is a 4-star monster with the ability to summon an additional Zubaba, Gagaga, Gogogo, Dododo (now I will call these 4 for short as ZGGD), to perform Xyz summon combos. Although its side effect is that this turn can only summon Xyz monsters, it does not affect this set that only plays Xyz.

Zubababancho Gagagacoat (I will call it ZG ) is a very strong monster with the ability to open very good combos. It itself contains two archetypes, Zubaba and Gagaga, so it can mix very well with those two archetypes. If you control a Zubaba or Gagaga monster on the field (except this one) you can summon this monster for free, which makes it go very well with UO . In addition, this card can also bring a Dododo or Gogogo monster from the grave to the field to Xyz summon to create a combo. And of course you will not be able to summon special monsters from the extra deck this turn, except for Xyz monsters as above.

Gagaga Head (Head) is one of the cards that has the ability to revive when losing with the ability to pull 2 Gagaga monsters from the grave and summon them to the field, however in this turn only Xyz can be summoned. In addition, its comeback ability also comes from the fact that when it is used as an Xyz material, you can draw 1 more card (if that card is Gagaga Bolt or BoM , there will be a chance to outplay the opponent), and the ability to attract monsters. From the grave, the monster is pulled up without blocking effects, allowing us to revive ZG to set up a battle with 2 Xyz monsters and trade with the opponent.

Dodododwarf Gogogoglove ( Glove ) is a monster with 2 archetypes ( Dododo and Gogogo ) with the ability to special summon 1 Zubaba and Gagaga from hand as well as the ability to jump from the grave to the field when you control Gogogo or Dododo . As a 4-star monster, Glove has great potential to become popular. However, at the present time, Onomat decks are more popular with Rank 6 and 7 than Rank 4, so Glove can only bring 1 of each deck. Don't even bring it.

Gagaga Mancer is a Level 4 monster that can summon another Gagaga monster from the grave to the field. However, it has too many limitations, such as:
1. Only Xyz Summon Gagaga monsters
2. Increasing 500 ATK, although beneficial, currently only Gagaga Samurai and Gagaga Cowboy are good at using this effect, but increasing 500 ATK for a Gagaga monster but not being able to Xyz summon another Gagaga monster is a disadvantage. huge benefit
That's why there are many decks that don't even include Mancer

Gagaga Child

Gagaga Sister is a waifu monster with a very powerful opening ability thanks to changing the Level of herself and a Gagaga monster so that the level of both monsters is equal to the Level of both monsters combined. In addition, Gagaga Sister also allows searching Add 1 Gagaga spell/trap (usually Gagaga Bolt ). Despite such powerful effects, Gagaga Sister has no side effects, so this is a very worth playing when combined with Gagaga Magician to create monsters of Rank 3 or higher.

Gagaga Magician is a monster that cannot be used as a Synchro material and you can only control 1 Gagaga Magician .
One of Gagaga Magician 's strongest abilities is to act as a staple for Spellcaster decks. Thanks to the ability to change his own level from 1 to 8, Gagaga Magician is often turned into Level 7 when mercenary for Dark Magician. In Onomat, Gagaga Magician is not widely used because it cannot be specially summoned, but Gagaga Magician appears a lot in Onomat F2P decks.

If you ignore side effects, Gagaga Child is the best card when combined with Gagaga Magician because Gagaga Child has the ability to change its own Level equal to the Level of a Gagaga monster on the field, Gagaga Child also has the ability to summon free from your hand while you are controlling a Gagaga monster on the field. However, Gagaga Child 's side effect prevents you from attacking during the turn it changes Level, making Gagaga Child only strongest when going first and only appearing in the Onomat F2P deck.

Gagaga Bolt is a powerful card that can target any card on the field and destroy it as long as you control a Gagaga monster. However, Gagaga Bolt is easily bricked so you usually only bring a single card ( Partly for the reason that it can be searched by Gagaga Sister)

Dodododraw is a card that has the ability to thin the deck as well as feed Glove or UO to the grave for ZG to pull up. However, in a combo deck like Unomat, bringing 3 Dodododraws will easily cause bricks, so other players usually only bring 2 or less.

Digital Bug Rhinosebus

Inzektor Exa-Beetle ( Beetle ) usually only serves as Xyz material for Digital Bug Rhinosebus ( Rhinosebus ). But sometimes the Beetle is very useful and there is no need to level up to the Rhinosebus . When Beetle is summoned, it will equip monsters from both players' graves to it and gain ATK DEF equal to half that monster's original ATK and DEF. At the same time, this effect also locks some players in the grave such as Blue-Eyes, Red-Eyes or Gaia (Curse Of Dragonfire key). And it also has a very powerful effect because it only discards 1 Xyz material, it will target 1 face-up card on the field and SEND to the grave, making non-destroyed effects useless against it.

Rhinosebus is a monster that can be Xyz Summoned normally or Xyz Summoned by detaching 2 materials from a Rank 5 or 6 Xyz Insect monster and using that same Insect monster as the Xyz material for this card. The summoning condition is simple, but it comes with a huge effect: during any player's turn, you discard 1 Xyz material from this card to destroy the opponent's monster with the highest defense ( not target ) and destroy all of your opponent's monsters if all monsters' defenses are equal, however you can destroy the monster you want by activating this effect when your opponent only controls 1 monster because the monster That beast is the monster you want to destroy. In addition, Rhinosebus also has the ability to penetrate armor

Abyss Dweller

Abyss Dweller is a strong card when going first and is used to face decks that trigger grave effects like Blue-Eyes or Lunalight and this grave ban effect can be used up to 2 times. However, the body of this card is quite weak (ATK 1700 DEF 1400), so sometimes the effect can only be used once before being punched to death (Blue-Eyes uses Ancient Rules, Lunalight uses Lunalight Fusion,...) but the monster This and a rank 6 or 7 monster like Photon Strike Bounzer Or Rhinosebus is something very annoying in the early turns.

Number 70: Malevolent Sin has the ability to target and banish 1 enemy monster by using an overlay unit, this effect is one of the powerful effects if you have 2 Number 70 you will banish the opponent's defense. road for OTK work.

Photon Strike Bounzer

Although both monsters have the ability to nagate the enemy, Force Focus proves to be superior to Photon Strike Bounzer at the present time.

As for Photon Strike Bounzer, this is a monster with a very good Body with the effect: when the opponent activates the effect by discarding 1 Xyz material, Photon Strike Bounzer will stop that effect and deal 500 damage to the opponent. . This 500 damage can be burned to death (yes, to be honest, I've been burned to death by this effect several times). In addition, it also reduces original points to make OTK equal to Number 70 easier

Force Focus has a larger body than Photon Strike Bounzer In all aspects, the effect is not as versatile as Photon Strike Bounzer. But Force Focus can do one thing that Photon Strike Bounzer cannot do: it can prevent continous effects but can only stop Level 5 monsters or higher. However, in the current meta, Force Focus is more popular to counter tier 1: Harpie Lady or tier 2 and 3 like D-Hero and Melodious.

Fiendish Chain

Mystical Space Typhoon is a long-standing card for the Vietnamese yugioh community, it only needs to have a meta trap instead of an effect monster for it to appear. This card itself is a quick play spell, so it can bombard the enemy spell/trap on the turn the enemy spell/trap has just turned face down, or can be used on your own turn so that the combo is not interrupted.

Fiendish Chain is a popular card that often comes with Onomat. Fiendish Chain will block the effects of opponent's face-up monsters (Onomat's strong point) and help protect life points when monsters whose effects are prevented cannot attack. Blocking this effect will sometimes interrupt the combo and cause the enemy to surrender

Although Forbidden Chalice is outstanding and used a lot in other decks, it is not very popular in Onomat, because increasing 400 ATK to get nagate is something very dangerous for Onomat when Abyss Dweller or even Photon Strike Bounzer can be encountered. danger. However, F2P decks can play chalice but are not recommended like Fiendish Chain

Cosmic Cyclone is a card often seen with Draw Sense: High Level or loose memes that like OTK with Chaos Number 39 (but more often seen with Draw Sense: High Level). Cosmic Cyclone has the ability to banish 1 spell/trap, so it can interrupt field spells or continuous spells/traps.

Gagaga Cowboy and Gagaga Samurai are included to optimize the side effects of Gagaga Mancer. Depending on the situation, you will summon Samurai or Cowboy
•Samurai: destroy 2 enemy monsters (usually after being nagate effect and the opponent ends their turn). Clearing these two monsters can be optimal between causing damage to the opponent and clearing the way for OTK
•Cowboy: often used more than Samurai with the ability to trade with the enemy's ATK 3000 boss, and can also perform OTK by buffing damage or burning

Present

Onomat in the present is both deadly and expensive, weak, and often has a deadhand. There is only one thing that can save Onomat and that is buffing the Onomatoplay skill

But if you buff the skill again, these Onomat will lose balance again because the skill that gives them the ability to create combos is too strong.
