Memento is a deck with very beautiful art, very diverse archetypes, levels and types (to be frank, they have nothing to do with each other :v)


"memento" means "remember", that's why this archetype uses old cards and recycles better art with unique effects and has very good one card cumbo ability.

Because this card costs normal summon, the handtrap is thrown when activating the effect when a card combo is used, thus stopping the combo

If you are worried about not having resources in the grave to jump onto the field, then you can search for a card that mills resources to the grave, and that is:

searchable by Angwitch , has the ability to self-jump and throw additional resources to the grave (shoot 1 of your monsters, send monsters from the deck with a total level equal to the monster shot on the field - can send more than 2 cards)


Usually this card will shoot itself (level 5) to send 3 cards to the grave (2 level 1 and 1 level 2) with tons of extra resources for combos.

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can discard 1 "Memento" card, then target 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls; destroy it. During your Main Phase: You can destroy 1 "Memento" monster you control, and if you do, Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower "Memento" monster from your Deck. You can only use each effect of "Mementotlan Dark Blade" once per turn.


This one has a spell/trap shooting effect that's not great, but it's really good. The best thing is to throw 1 Memento into the grave for a combo.


The main effect of this card is to shoot itself to create a one card combo by summoning Angwitch from the deck to the field (as well as having this corpse in the grave, supporting both combos and boss summons).

big bad boss, brick when held in hand + searchable so x1 is more than enough, summoning by returning resources from the grave to the deck is extremely annoying + the ability to punch all enemy monsters at the same time makes the monster 5000 ATK /This DEF becomes extremely pressured (although it will still be shot to death by the effect because it has no immunity or anything)


Has the effect of jumping additional Memento monsters from the hand or grave to put more pressure on opp with tons of disruption

If you play this card with Cranium Burst , you will have 5 Negate monsters, increasing the discomfort for opp

a searchable card + jumping conditions are a bit tiring so playing x1 is enough, this card offers extremely strong bombardment ability as well as a big body to OTK or combo thanks to shooting your own Memento card

Has the ability to search for monsters/spells/traps in Memento but is often used to search for spells/traps. The strength of this card is that it is level 1 (easily thrown into the grave by seahorses ) and can easily be picked up from the grave into the hand. When in hand, this card has the ability to NTR monster opp to block their very difficult combos.

Milling to the grave is easy thanks to the seahorse because this card is level 1, capable of milling up to 2 Memento monsters/spells/traps to the grave (but usually throws spells/traps to pick up in hand or place on the field).


Actually, this card can be used as a starter but it is not recommended, x1 is enough

Level 2 should be easy to mill seahorses , the beauty of this card is that if sent to the grave by the Memento monster effect, it will automatically jump onto the field.


The effect of picking up monsters/spells/traps from the grave to the hand of this card is very good, allowing you to pick up Fusion or other cards for the next turn to play again.

It's a very easy card to pick up, only requires 2 Mementos, has the effect of shooting Mementos on the field or hand and finding up to 2 Memento monsters from the deck to the hand as well as the ability to jump a Level 6 or lower Memento monster from the grave if shot, you can Can jump back one card combo cards from the grave and repeat if you are practicing ( Goblin or Dark Blade )

There is an effect that causes any monster punched to death by Memento to be banned, helping your boss to be more overwhelmed and not allowing opp to recover (remember to read the enemy monster's effect if you don't want to be crushed). Well, this part is a bit redundant because this card is rarely on the field

During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY; destroy 1 monster you control, and if you do, add 1 "Memento" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Mementotlan Fusion" once per turn.


    Fusion by picking up materials from the grave to the deck => recovering resources to overwhelm the opponent


    Has the effect of banishing yourself from the grave while shooting cards and searching for cards: adds resources and triggers other monster effects

    Is an instant magic => can be played during the enemy's turn or avoiding the enemy's target (can only be used in Main Phase, cannot OTK in Battle Phase)

      If your "Memento" monster battles, your opponent cannot activate any Spell/Trap Cards until the end of the Damage Step. If a monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can target 1 of those monsters; Special Summon 1 "Memento" monster with a lower Level from your hand or GY. You can only use this effect of "Mementomictlan" once per turn. Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can target 1 "Memento" Spell/Trap in your GY; Set it.


      has the ability to make your boss safer when punching because opps can't use spells/traps, monsters can still activate effects :/


      The beauty here is that it allows you to jump the Memento monster if your monster is destroyed as well as place a spell/trap in the grave at the end of the turn to overwhelm or backup.

      I advise you to bring x1 because this card is searchable

        is a normal search card but the beauty here is that it shoots cards (trigger effect on Memento monster) as well as instant magic that can be used on the enemy's turn.


        Has a piercing punch effect that makes the boss easier to OTK

        It is recommended to bring x3 like Angwitch or Dark Blade to increase the stability of the deck

When your opponent activates a monster effect on the field (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 "Mementoal Tecuhtlica - Combined Creation" you control; it loses exactly 1000 ATK/DEF, and if it does, negate that activated effect. You can only activate this effect of "Mementotlan Cranium Burst" once per Chain.
