... Whatever comes must come, even though I hate this deck, I will still post it for you to have an overview of this Black Luster Soldier deck, also known as BLS.
Anime deck + cheat Skill = ez tier 1, is this a brainless p2w deck that can be played?? Let's see too

Instructions for playing Black Luster Soldier
Sections covered in this guide:
Skill
Yep, Skill will be the first thing mentioned because everyone knows what this deck is strongest for...
+7 Grave Card for nothing?
- Maybe we should speak slowly, because this skill is quite long. Right now we see adding a bunch of something to the grave, but we'll leave it for later. The important thing is the second sentence - it's almost a side effect (the deck's summon limit) to make it less strong. But WTF Konami?? It only prevents us from Synchro and XYZ , what about Link??? The current meta can be mixed with a bunch of awesome Link engines, bro?? So this deck is still playable with Link Monster in Extra .
- Usually on my first turn, I will immediately Ritual 1 BLS with "Super Soldier Ritual" along with 2 ingredients in the grave.
Then: add another free BLS from the deck to your hand, set 1 ritual spell from the deck to the field (can be Chaos Form), Return 3 banished cards to the grave (3 cards I used for ritual) to prepare for the next turn Following the next ritual,.....
Dcm writes but feels like he's talking like a bot, what skill is fake, dirty buff imitating fifai
This is the pile added to the grave through Skill. The most notable card is the ritual spell " Super Soldier Ritual ":
- This card can be activated the same turn it is added to the graveyard through Skills. Ritual 1 BLS in hand ignores the million condition Its recovery is only from the ingredients provided in the grave. Note that this is Hard one per turn , so after bringing it back from the banish area to the grave, you have to wait until the next turn to use it again.
Black Luster Soldier
Because this deck has up to 3 Ritual monsters and all the monsters are named Black Luster Soldier , I will abbreviate them quickly and to differentiate:
- Legendary Swordsman
- Super Soldier
- BLS
Included with Super Soldier are these 2 Gaia cards (these are added to the grave through skills so they do not take up deck slots)
There is nothing to say too much when their effect is to replace meat when Super Soldier leaves the field
The ideal card to summon on turn 2, it has enough elements to become a beater that every deck wants to have:
- ATK 3000 also forces opp not to be ALLOWED to activate effs in the battle phase (in Duel Links, cards that have the ability to prevent enemies from activating effects in the Damage Step are already very good), making this card counter everything that prevents us from attacking like Mirror Force , Magic Cylinder, ... or simply those who don't read and save Disruption until the Battle Phase to use it.
- Because the skill has given us a bunch of normal monsters in the grave, this card has 100% chance of having 1 additional effect when attacking and destroying a monster : Return all opp's cards. Combined with the above effect, the opp flying the whole field will almost happen (unless we encounter some Uneffected cards) -> thereby finishing off the opponent with an empty field.
This is an important core card that needs to be x3 in this deck. It is also counted as a Special Summoned BLS so it will activate the Skill . Cards that are banned as a condition for summoning this card will also be returned to the grave via skill.
The effectiveness of the two effects is summarized as follows:
- The first effect is also the most important effect, banish 1 monster to open the way (because sometimes we cannot rely on Legendary Swordman). Although you cannot attack on the turn using this ability, you can use it as a material to summon Link
- The second eff is simply punching a monster, giving you +1 attack. But to be honest, I rarely use it because once I punch, I usually use Legendary Swordman
Master
This Engine is the best Engine for BLS.
Endymion has many uses to bring advantage to this deck that only costs 1 normal summon (while BLS doesn't even need a Normal summon :v).
The effect of equipping 1 Magistus from the extra deck and then the 2nd effect is to destroy one of your own face-up spells/traps, bringing different effects depending on the Magistus card you use to Equip and I will talk about it later.
A simple turn 1 combo with this card is :
- Normal summon this card
- Equip Artemis in extra deck
- Activate the second effect, destroy Artemis
- Artemis's effect will search for 1 more Endymion from the deck - at the same time chain to Draw and return the Endymion card just searched
Similar to Artemis, these 4 cards will also be equipped into Endymion through his effect, then activate the Effect. Each of these 4 cards has the same usage, but the effects are slightly different:
- Ninaruru : Destroy 1 spell/trap
- Aiwass : Buff 1000 ATK/DEF for Endymion
- Rilliona : Negate your opponent's effect monster
- Vahram : Helps Destroy monsters when Endymion attacks
