Dark Magician after braindead fusion is released, there is no need to mix Braindead Fusion as heavily as Brick-Eyes, so you can play pure or mix Spellbook if you are too frustrated with Braindead Fusion.


Dark Magician has very strong control abilities, has protection, recovery, jumps monsters, banishes, searches (strong), draws, bans spells, bans monster effects,... in general, Dark Magician can be mixed with many cards and Still ok but not too bricked

Searcher x3 is okay, search for Spell/Trap whose name or content (well, the place where the card's effects are written) says Dark Magician, which means it searches almost all the spells/traps of this deck, already. How about picking yourself up in your hand to continue searching later

You can Ritual Summon this card with "Chaos Form". You can reveal this card in your hand; add 1 "Dark Magician", or 1 non-Ritual Monster that mentions it, from your Deck to your hand, then place 1 card from your hand on top of the Deck. When your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can return this card to the hand, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Dark Magician" from your GY, and if you do that, negate that activated effect. You can only use each effect of "Illusion of Chaos" once per turn.


What ritual? We don't do that here



This one mainly shows it to the opp, then searches for a DM or card with DM written in the text, then puts 1 card from hand on top of the deck (usually this one).


So what does it have to play x2-3? Well, it searches, and to put it on top of the deck, shuffle the deck by jumping monsters, searching from the deck,... and that's it

      There are 2 ways to play this card

      Method 1: place 1 card on the top deck to turn then draw or search to hand
      Method 2 is used by many people: banish from the grave and draw cards equal to the number of DM, Palladium, DM Girl with a different name in the field or grave, yes in theory it will help you draw handtrap or staple to defend the field better.

      So how to take it to the grave? Activating it so it goes to the grave is slightly -1 on the first turn, usually Magician Soul throws it and another card to draw 2, then this card will usually banish to draw 1 more.

            Salvation x1: set Eternal Soul straight from the deck onto the field - a card that OP vl

            + When DM or DMG jumps onto the field, you jump the other one from the grave (for example, if the DM jumps, he will pull the DMG from the grave and vice versa),
