Continuing part 1, in this part I will mention a few more combos as well as some ways to play the deck.
Instructions for playing Darklord - Part 2
Sections covered in this guide:
Darklord's combo
Darklord's combo consumes a lot of resources in the hand because Darklord monsters need to discard another Darklord card to pay the cost of the effect from the hand. Darklord's current combos are almost difficult to perform if less than 3 Darklord cards are in hand.
Darklord Contact, Darklord Ixchel and Indulged Darklord (Darklord 3-card combo)
Darklord Ixchel
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2900
You can discard this card and 1 "Darklord" card; draw 2 cards. (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap in your GY; apply that target's effect, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use each effect of "Darklord Ixchel" once per turn. You can only Special Summon "Darklord Ixchel(s)" once per turn.
Indulged Darklord
ATK:
1600
DEF:
0
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 2 "Darklord" monsters from your hand or Deck with different Levels, except "Indulged Darklord", Special Summon 1 of them to your opponent's field in Defense Position and add the other to your hand, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except Fairy monsters. You can only use this effect of "Indulged Darklord" once per turn.
In this combo, you need to have exactly 3 cards with the correct names:
- Darklord Ixchel ;
- Darklord Contact ;
- Indulged Darklord .
Perform combos:
- Activate the effect of Darklord Ixchel , discard this card along with Indulged Darklord from your hand to the Graveyard as a cost, then draw 2 cards.
- Activate Darklord Contact from your hand to summon Darklord Ixchel from your grave to the field.
- Activate Darklord Ixchel 's effect on the field, pay 1000LP, target Darklord Contact in the grave to copy this card's effect, summon from the grave to the field Indulged Darklord .
- Activates Indulged Darklord 's effect when summoned. You can take any missing Darklord monsters for combos to your hand and summon any monster you want to your opponent's side of the field.
- Use 2 Darklord monsters on the field to link summon Condemned Darklord .
- Activate the effect of Condemned Darklord , discard 1 card from your hand and add Darklord Morningstar from your deck to your hand.
- Normal summon Darklord Morningstar to the field. Thanks to Condemned Darklord 's effect, you can use 2 graveyard monsters for the sacrificial summon of Darklord Morningstar .
- Activate Darklord Morningstar 's effect when Tributed Summoned, special summoning 1 Darklord monster from your deck to the field.
- Activate Darklord Morningstar 's remaining effects, sending 4 cards (corresponding to 4 Darklord monsters) from the top of the deck to the Graveyard. End combo.
Points to note in combos:
Darklord Morningstar
ATK:
3000
DEF:

Cannot be Special Summoned. If this card is Tribute Summoned: You can Special Summon "Darklord" monsters from your hand and/or Deck, up to the number of Effect Monsters your opponent controls. While you control another "Darklord" monster, your opponent cannot target this card with card effects. Once per turn: You can send cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard, equal to the number of "Darklord" monsters on the field, and if you do, gain 500 LP for each "Darklord" card sent to the Graveyard by this effect.
Darklord Nasten
ATK:
2600
DEF:
2600
You can discard 2 other "Darklord" cards; Special Summon this card from your hand. (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap in your GY; apply that target's effect, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Darklord Nasten" once per turn. You can only Special Summon "Darklord Nasten(s)" once per turn.
Darklord Ixchel
ATK:

DEF:

You can discard this card and 1 "Darklord" card; draw 2 cards. (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap in your GY; apply that target's effect, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use each effect of "Darklord Ixchel" once per turn. You can only Special Summon "Darklord Ixchel(s)" once per turn.
Darklord Tezcatlipoca
ATK:
2800
DEF:
2100
If a "Darklord" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can discard this card instead. During either player's turn: You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard; apply that target's effect, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Darklord Tezcatlipoca" once per turn. You can only Special Summon "Darklord Tezcatlipoca(s)" once per turn.
- Darklord Morningstar is the final target of the combo, so you should not use this monster as a cost and send it to the grave if there is no other Darklord Morningstar that can be placed in your hand.
- Suggested monster added to hand thanks to Indulged Darklord 's effect: Darklord Superbia can be used as a cost and summoned again in the next turns, Darklord Tezcatlipoca keeps in hand to protect your Darklord monsters.
- Monsters summoned to the opponent's field by Indulged Darklord 's effect should be easy to destroy.
- The Darklord monsters that Darklord Morningstar summons to the field should be monsters that can copy the effects of spells and traps in the grave. Darklord Morningstar 's grave sending effect will give you an additional chance to get bait for these monsters.
- Although the combo requires many cards, at the end of the combo, the number of cards in your hand is only reduced by 1 compared to the original and more Darklord cards are added from the field and graveyard.
The cards are interchangeable
Darklord Nasten
ATK:
2600
DEF:
2600
You can discard 2 other "Darklord" cards; Special Summon this card from your hand. (Quick Effect): You can pay 1000 LP, then target 1 "Darklord" Spell/Trap in your GY; apply that target's effect, then shuffle that target into the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Darklord Nasten" once per turn. You can only Special Summon "Darklord Nasten(s)" once per turn.
Indulged Darklord
ATK:

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 2 "Darklord" monsters from your hand or Deck with different Levels, except "Indulged Darklord", Special Summon 1 of them to your opponent's field in Defense Position and add the other to your hand, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except Fairy monsters. You can only use this effect of "Indulged Darklord" once per turn.
In the above combo, you can replace Darklord Ixchel with Darklord Nasten .
Combo pieces in hand: Darklord Nasten , Darklord Contact , Indulged Darklord .
The real key to the combo is how you can summon 2 fairy monsters to the field and use them as materials to link summon Condemned Darklord .
Discard the remaining 2 cards from your hand to summon Darklord Nasten from your hand. Continue using Darklord Nasten 's on-field effect, copying Darklord Contact 's effect and special summoning Indulged Darklord to the field.
The monster added to your hand thanks to Indulged Darklord will be used as a cost for Condemned Darklord later, this allows you to continue performing combos by activating Condemned Darklord 's effect to get Darklord Morningstar in your hand.
Banishment of the Darklord can replace any card in the combo, not only that, your Darklord monster can copy this card's effect to add another Darklord card (trap) to your hand.
Darklord Morningstar and Condemned Darklord (Decided during normal summoning)
Darklord Morningstar

2 Fairy monsters You can Tribute Summon Fairy monsters that require 2 Tributes by banishing 2 monsters from your GY instead of Tributing (it is still treated as a Tribute Summon). You can discard 1 card; take 1 "Darklord" monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or send it to the GY. You can only use this effect of "Condemned Darklord" once per turn. Once per turn, during your End Phase: Gain 500 LP for each Fairy monster on the field.
Condemned Darklord helps you summon and sacrifice Darklord monsters that require 2 sacrifices more easily. You will not need to sacrifice monsters on the field, any 2 monsters in your grave can be removed in place of the sacrifice monster on the field. Furthermore, this summon of Condemned Darklord is still counted as a sacrifice summon, this ensures that Darklord Morningstar 's effect can still be activated to maximize the player's advantage.
Another effect of Condemned Darklord , by discarding 1 card in your hand, you can add 1 Darklord monster from the deck to your hand or you can also choose to throw that Darklord monster from the deck to the grave.
Darklord Morningstar is a level 11 Darklord monster and the only way to summon this monster is through normal summoning (usually 2 monsters are required for sacrificial summoning).
When Darklord Morningstar is Tributed Summoned, you can special summon a number of Darklord monsters from your hand and deck corresponding to the number of effect monsters your opponent is controlling.
When there are other Darklord monsters on your side of the field, your opponent will not be able to target this monster.
In addition, there is also the effect of being able to send more cards from the top of the pile to the grave corresponding to the number of Darklord monsters on the field each turn, you will also gain 500LP for each Darklord card sent to the grave. . This effect gives you more magic resources, traps Darklord to copy the effect and restores the amount of lp maintained so you can continue to pay the cost for the effect.

Darklord Zerato

DEF:

If you have 4 or more DARK monsters with different names in your Graveyard, you can Tribute Summon this card by Tributing 1 DARK monster. You can send 1 DARK monster from your hand to the Graveyard; destroy all monsters your opponent controls. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this effect was activated this turn: Destroy this card.
Capricious Darklord
ATK:
0
DEF:
1600
During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; Tribute Summon 1 Fairy monster face-up. If this card is sent to the GY: You can make all monsters your opponent currently controls lose 500 ATK/DEF for each Fairy monster on the field, until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Capricious Darklord" once per turn.
Indulged Darklord
ATK:
1600
DEF:

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 2 "Darklord" monsters from your hand or Deck with different Levels, except "Indulged Darklord", Special Summon 1 of them to your opponent's field in Defense Position and add the other to your hand, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except Fairy monsters. You can only use this effect of "Indulged Darklord" once per turn.
In the combo, if you summon Darklord Morningstar , you will have a higher chance of winning.
Combined with Indulged Darklord , you will definitely be able to summon at least 1 Darklord monster thanks to its effect. The monsters that Darklord Morningstar summons will be Darklord monsters that can copy spell effects and traps from the grave such as Darklord Ixchel or Darklord Nasten to create additional disruptions during the opponent's turn.
Although Condemned Darklord can use monsters from the grave instead of sacrificing, you only have 1 normal summon per turn. Therefore, if your combo focuses on summoning the Darklord Morningstar monster, you need to find a way to summon the Condemned Darklord while still keeping the normal summon during your turn. Finally, Condemned Darklord will help you get Darklord Morningstar in your hand to perform a sacrificial summon.
Capricious Darklord has an effect that allows you to Tribute Summon 1 fairy monster during both players' turns. With Capricious Darklord , you can now normal summon other Darklord monsters in the Darklord Morningstar summon combo.
Darklord Zerato can also be a situational target for Darklord Morningstar to summon. By sending 1 DARK monster in his hand to the Graveyard, Darklord Zerato can destroy all of his opponent's monsters.
At the end phase of the turn this monster activates its effect, this monster is also destroyed. This is not really a huge disadvantage for Darklord because you have already cleared the enemy's upper deck and can deal some damage to the enemy (sometimes ending the game) and the ability to resurface from The Darklord's tomb later on is absolutely very easy.

Darklord Uprising is a trap card with the effect of summoning a DARK monster using materials from your hand and field.
The First Darklord is a target of the Darklord Uprising . The materials for this monster are 3 DARK Fairy monsters.
Once per turn, during the 2-player main phase, you can pay 1000LP to summon 1 fairy monster from the grave in defense position (no target). With the ability to protect your fairy monsters from being targeted (including this monster) along with 4000 ATK, The First Darklord almost makes your Darklord monsters immortal.
Additionally, if The First Darklord uses Darklord Morningstar as a material. When you are fusion summoned, you can destroy all cards on your opponent's field.
Support cards
Allure of Darkness (Support drawing cards)
The deck has a majority of DARK monster cards, so Allure of Darkness is a good card drawing option for Darklord.
Reasoning (Support sending messages to the grave)
Reasoning
Your opponent declares a monster Level from 1 to 12. Excavate cards from the top of your Deck until you excavate a monster that can be Normal Summoned/Set, then, if that monster is the same Level as the one declared by your opponent, send all excavated cards to the GY. If not, Special Summon the excavated monster, also send the remaining cards to the GY.
Each Darklord monster has a different level, so the possibility of you being able to summon a monster thanks to Reasoning is relatively high. Not only that, Reasoning also helps you send more Darklord spells and traps to the grave.
Other supports
Forbidden Droplet

The Darklord Deck can be combined with other fairy monsters through the Darklord Superbia monster. This gives the deck more different directions to help players freely be creative when building a deck.
Archlord Kristya is a lock position monster that can both be summoned from the grave and can also be sacrificed thanks to Condemned Darklord , in addition this monster can also be special summoned itself.
However, if you special summon Darklord Superbia from the grave when copying Darklord Contact 's effect with the effects of other Darklord monsters, Darklord Superbia will miss timing and cannot use its summon from the grave.

You can only activate 1 "Darklord Uprising" per turn.
Conclusion
After more than a week of experiencing Darklord, I feel that the deck is really difficult to play in the current format and has quite a few weaknesses.
It is necessary to have at least 3 Darklord cards in hand to complete the combo or the deck will play very slowly with only Darklord trap cards.
Condemned Darklord is an important monster in the deck's combo, you can play additional extender monsters like Angel O1 to create more link summoning resources.
One of the minimum things you can do to win with Darklord is to sacrifice summon Darklord Morningstar or fusion summon The First Darklord .
Archlord Kristya is a fairy monster that gives the deck more chances to win and combines very well with Darklord.
Nurse burn strategy
Trap Trick
Banish 1 Normal Trap from your Deck, except "Trap Trick", and Set 1 card with the same name directly from your Deck, also it can be activated this turn. You can only activate 1 Trap Card for the rest of this turn after this card resolves. You can only activate 1 "Trap Trick" per turn.
Darklord Nurse Reficule is a Darklord monster that cannot be played in the strategy introduced in this article. There will be another article specifically for the strategy surrounding this monster with the way of playing being "add LP to the opponent".
Despia Strategy - Darklord
Branded Opening
Discard 1 card, then take 1 "Despia" monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or Special Summon it in Defense Position, also for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except Fusion Monsters. If a Fusion Monster(s) you control would be destroyed by card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only use each effect of "Branded Opening" once per turn.

Besides Darklord, the game also has another card clan including DARK-type fairy monsters, Despia. Despia is a deck that specializes in fusion summoning. Combined with Despia, Darklord can now summon the main monster The First Darklord more easily as well as combine effects to summon monsters. This continuously rises from the grave every turn, making them nearly immortal.
