Toon is a familiar card line in the anime and manga world of Yu-Gi-Oh! Used by Pegasus and in the game, this is an extremely cheap F2P card for newbies to build and climb ranks. In fact, the deck has climbed to Plat rank extremely easily with its play style!

The main purpose of the deck is to attack directly, using Toon Kingdom as the lifeline of the deck to make the cards work seamlessly together. There are many annoying ways to use the deck such as attacking directly, causing burn damage, capturing monsters, negating continuously,...

In addition, according to statistics, the deck uses quite a few costs with only an average of 270 UR and 420 SR, the rest are N and R which are extremely easy to craft and find. For that reason, the deck is classified as F2P worth playing in Master Duel.

For Black Stone:
  • The Black Stone of Legend is a great choice for getting a free Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from the deck, which can be used to send any Toon monster other than Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from your hand straight onto the field.
    • Use 1 copy - To get Red-Eyes to summon monsters from hand.
    • NOTE - If you have other Toon cards in hand but still need Toon Kingdom , prioritize Toon Dark Magician as it has the ability to take any Toon Spell/Trap from the deck. Always grab a Toon Bookmark if you haven't played one in a turn because it's an extra life turn for Toon Kingdom and provides another search for anything you might need.
    • Use 2 copies - To bait any handtraps like Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring for example, if this happens and you still have Linkuriboh or Relinquished Anima in your Extra Deck, those are options to continue using Use a searcher if you have one at hand.
For Red-Eyes:
  • If you need to special summon a monster from your hand, this is where Red-Eyes Toon Dragon comes in as a great choice. Alternatively, use a Red-Eyes Toon Dragon if you already have one on the field, you can always keep it or use it for an Xyz from the Extra Deck for convenience.

If you need to search or special summon any monsters from your deck, use a Toon Dark Magician , which is usually the best way to get out if you have other Toon cards in hand to use the effect by the DM to put any Toon Monster on the field or any Toon Spell/Trap from the deck.

Sometimes during the match, you won't want to rely too much on Toon monsters because it's unlikely you can keep them on the field for long. For this reason, Toon's best supports will come from their Spells and Traps, making the deck more unified.

    When this card is activated: Banish 3 cards from the top of your Deck, face-down. This card's name becomes "Toon World" while in the Field Zone. Your opponent cannot target Toon monsters you control with card effects. If a Toon monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish 1 card from the top of your Deck, face-down, for each of those monster(s) instead.


    Toon Kingdom is the heart of this deck and your top priority to get with any of your searchers/effects in the deck. This card allows direct attacks and protection of your monster(s). Similar to Toon World with some added bonuses. Cost changed from paying "1000 Life Points" to banishing the top 3 cards of your deck face down when this card is activated.

    • Toon monster(s) you control cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects.
    • If a Toon monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect, you can instead banish the top card of the deck for each of those monsters.
    Note! ALWAYS Look to see which cards are banished when Toon Kingdom activates. (Reason) You need to know which plays you can no longer make on cards banished upon activation.

      Toon Bookmark is an amazing card, not only does it allow you to search for any card that mentions " Toon World " in its text from the deck but it also grants extra lives by banishing it from the grave when your Toon Kingdom will be destroyed.

      Typically you will use it before playing Toon Kingdom that way if it is destroyed you can defend it immediately while continuing to search for something else, remember this card can only be Activates once per turn, however grave effect can be applied to however many copies are present.

        Toon Table of Contents is similar to Toon Bookmark , it can search any card in the Deck named "Toon", it cannot search Comic Hand , however, it can be used to search Toon Bookmark if you haven't played any cards this turn and then use Toon Bookmark to take what you want from the deck.

          If you control "Toon World": Reveal 3 Toon monsters with different names from your Deck, your opponent randomly picks 1 for you to Special Summon, ignoring its Summoning conditions, also shuffle the rest into your Deck. You can only activate 1 "Toon Page-Flip" per turn.


          Toon Page-Flip is great, remember this is another card that can only be activated once per turn. You let your opponent randomly choose 3 monsters with different names that you choose from the deck and then special summon the selected monster to the field. This is a quick-play spell so you can use a spell not only on your turn but on your opponent's as well.

            If you control "Toon World", equip to an opponent's monster. Take control of it. It is treated as a Toon monster. If your opponent controls no Toon monsters, it can attack your opponent directly. If "Toon World" is not on the field, destroy this card.


            Comic Hand is a card that can be used to make your opponent's blood boil, it's never fun when your own monster is taken from you, turned into a Toon so it's protected by the Toon Kingdom and can still attack directly due to that monster being converted into a toon. Remember that Comic Hand can still target and will return monsters to your opponent if removed from the field.

              Shadow Toon is great for getting that last bit of damage you might need to finish off your opponent. If your opponent controls a targetable monster with equal or greater ATK, you can use their ATK to finish your opponent.

                  Toon Terror is a card that I often like to set at the end of my turn and will use searchers to get it, especially when going first. This card can save you from a lot of things, including Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder or other big threats that are Solemn Judgment without paying half your LP, but you have to control the monster Toon and Toon Kingdom monsters to use this card.

                              There Can Be Only One is a nasty floodgate to deal with however our deck can play with it quite well and more often, so it's not like your opponents have to suffer this on the field.

                              • This card is not always useful in random matches but it is quite useful as you can always choose to use another trap with your Side Deck
                              • Note - Placing this card face down on the field will prevent you from using The Black Stone of Legend to summon Red-Eyes Toon Dragon from the deck.
