This article will help you better understand the Fire King card clan.




Brief introduction

Fire King is a card clan revolving around Winged Beast and fire-type Beast-Warrior monsters. The deck has a unique gameplay with the ability to self-destruct Fire Kings to achieve the requirement to be able to activate their effects from the grave in standby phases.

The cards in the Fire King clan have interconnected effects that make your deck very convenient for combos. Key monsters have the ability to prevent opponents from comboing and have wide-area destructive effects.

However, for Fire Kings to activate the effect, it takes up to 1 turn and some cannot actively activate the effect. Furthermore, this is a deck that depends a lot on the grave, so the opponent can take advantage of this to weaken your Fire Kings.

Arvata has an effect that can negate the activation of a monster's effect. In return, the disadvantage you suffer is that you must destroy a fire-type monster in your hand or on the field.

This turns the monster destruction effects of Fire Kings, or cards with other destruction effects, from being disadvantageous into beneficial effects for the player. Furthermore, when summoned this way, all remaining monsters on the field are destroyed.

      Onslaught will be a card that will help you from turn 2 onwards. It allows you to call any fire-type Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged Beast monster from your deck, not just the Fire King, however the summoned monster's effects will be negated.

      But fortunately, this monster will be destroyed at the end of the turn. For Fire King, the cards that are destroyed by effects are not all because most Fire King monsters have special abilities activated. Especially when destroyed by effects from other cards.

      Barong allows you to add any Fire King card you want from your deck to your hand. However, if you go turn 1, Barong will hardly add anything to you because Barong will flash its effect during your opponent's turn and the card you put in your hand will be difficult to use immediately.

      Yaksha is a Fire King that can activate its abilities when killed by effects or in combat, which can make your first few turns go smoother. You can take advantage of effect (2) to destroy your Fire Kings and make them eligible to activate the effect next turn.

                            The deck will play around the Arvata monster, using Arvata 's effect to negate the activation of the opponent's monster ability, interrupting their combo. Note, to use this effect, you must have another FIRE monster in your hand or on the field. Arvata is level 4 so summoning normally is very easy.

                            Arvata can destroy any fire-type monster when activating its effect, you can take advantage of this to have good deck-building directions when combined with other fire-type monsters.
