Buster Blader deck ver 2023 focuses on trying to get Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman to rely on Buster Dragon 's DNA Surgery -like effect to lock your opponent out of effects and monster attacks. Some other important cards include Buster Whelp of the Destruction Swordsman to search for Destruction Swordsman Fusion or Destruction Sword Memories to make things difficult for your opponent.
Thus, it can be seen that we will not have to struggle to choose slots for the Main Deck like before, but the version of the deck has now been expanded with many options for Extra Decks as well as slots for new Techs. Helps you defeat your opponent immediately.
However, it sounds strong, but in essence it is just a floodgate deck and does not necessarily emerge as a meta deck. So you will need to consider if you want to build a set!

The basic trio of every Buster Blader deck
- Destruction Swordmaster is used as a fusion material and is an extremely good alternative to Buster Blader. Opp's ability to prevent monsters from regenerating under GY and also help clear the field will greatly help the Deck.
- Whelp to search for Fusion in your hand and is also the only Tuner to bring Buster Dragon onto the field. In addition, the ability to regenerate Buster Blader is quite good for you to diversify your playing style in many cases.
- Fusion is used to... um Fusion :v but this is a quick-play, meaning you can attack, put Destroyer Swordsman on the field during opp's turn to surprise them. And it can be recycled continuously, but the problem will appear if you are facing a GY embargo deck, such as Necrovalley or DD Crow .

However, strong is indeed strong and improvement is indeed improvement but Buster Blader is still not completely improved. Buster Dragon is included in the game, but to put it on the field at the same time as your Ace, it must be admitted that it will take time. So, what to do to shorten the time? There is a card in the archetype that can temporarily solve this problem!

You can banish this card from your Graveyard; this turn, "Destruction Sword" cards you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. You can only activate 1 "Prologue of the Destruction Swordsman" per turn.
Prologue is a good solution to put Buster Dragon on the field and help you completely control the opp field. This is also a protection to better protect monsters, helping you not worry too much about your ace being affected by backrow effects.
