Chaos Chimera OTK Gameplay Guide

Chaos Chimera OTK Gameplay Guide

Although the Thumbnail + title makes it seem like this is an in-depth analysis and guide article about Chaos Chimera OTK, there's actually nothing advanced to write about this Deck =)))) I just want to write this article so you guys know that this deck exists.

Skill

Barian Battlemorph! Strongest Barian (Skill Card)

Skill is what makes this deck work so of course we can't use other Skills. The limitation of this Skill is that we can only summon a few Numbers so there aren't many options.

The first ability of this Skill helps us search up to 2 Rank-up-magic spells, (usually 1 card to summon Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon , 1 is to Rank up Number 104: Masquerade ) and at the same time download to both sides' graves a total of 8 cards to use as summoning materials as well as to play (each side has 4 identical cards, in which 1 card is Number 104, the remaining 3 cards are Number C>101 with different names)

The final effect helps us turn into Super Saiyan like other Barian Battlemorphs and at the same time revive a number monster from the grave. Quite similar to Glorious Numbers but must be exchanged = 1 card on the field. Sometimes this effect is also quite important, when the opponent spreads out too many monsters, the ATK of Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon can drop to 3000 and not be enough to finish, then we will need 1 more body to finish.

Important XYZ cards

This deck only focuses on one monster, Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon . The other monsters are just for secondary damage/ occasional support on the field, but be careful with monsters on the Main Monster Zone. If there are monsters on there, we will not be able to combine with Sky Striker.

Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon

The main boss of the deck and the one that leads us to victory

Thanks to Skill, summoning Chaos Chimera Dragon will be extremely easy. If we go later, we just need to Click Activate Rank-up-magic and then summon this card to the field using the XYZ materials in the grave that Skill has prepared for us.

Thanks to the ability of this card, when we go to the field, we will automatically have 7000 ATK , and at the same time, we can discard 1 XYZ material to attack again. Each time we discard 1 material, it is equivalent to this card losing 1000 ATK , so to ensure our OTK strategy goes smoothly, we need to add a second monster on the field thanks to the second effect of the Skill, or the Spell Time Thief Hack card.

This card has a second effect, so you don't need to worry about it...

Number 104: Masquerade (x1-2)

Number 104: Masquerade

In Deck , Number 104: Masquerade is simply a card sent from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard to assist in the summoning of Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon . However, there is something to say about this card:

  • This card fits the conditions to summon through the 3rd effect of the Barian Battlemorph skill! Strongest Barian or Glorious Numbers . Because if we revive other Number Cs in the graveyard, they will not have XYZ materials and will be no different from a brick standing on the field (no effect), instead we will revive Number 104 then use Rank-up-magic spells and summon Number Cs from Extra so that they have Materials and then activate effects, put pressure,....

  • With ATK 2700, Masquerade can only put a little pressure on the opponent's field when temporary defense is needed.

Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade (x1-2)

Number C104: Umbral Horror Masquerade

Also one of the materials sent from the Extra Deck to help summon Boss. Its effect is also quite useful but as mentioned above: We don't need to care too much because 80% of the time we just need to Summon Number C5 and then OTK

  • It helps us clear 1 Spell/Trap on the field to make it easier to OTK ( something that quick spells or Sky Striker do better ), and also has an additional effect if we have Number 104: Masquerade as XYZ material ( 100% like that ), which is Negate 1 of the opponent's activated monster effects, conveniently destroying 1 card in hand + reducing half of the base points.

Put it in to activate Skill + Summon Number C5: Chaos Chimera Dragon but its ability to negate a series of face-up cards on the field will sometimes prove to be effective. However, we only need 4 Number C>101 so many people when building decklist have omitted this card, instead people prioritize Utopia Leo more.

This Ultimate Leo Utopia Ray package is like insurance in case our Chimera OTK plan goes awry. If we clear a fair amount of the enemy's field and no longer have Chimera, we can still Rank up Number 104: Masquerade to get this card and finish off the enemy.

The main effect of this card is to activate Skills and search for Rank-up-magic Spells. The effect of this card also helps us revive more Body to add attacks if we don't have enough Damage, and also draw 1 more card.
If you want to overkill, you can use it to revive Number 104, then activate Rank-up-magic search through Skill to summon Number C.

This card is used to Rank-up Number 104 to Number C, but it also has a large-area Negate effect: Negate all face-up cards on the field except the newly summoned monster (Extremely good for turn 2, countering a bunch of enemy monster effects)

Sky Striker package is 90% perfect support for this deck but not required. It gives us the ability to search, draw to thin the deck and also helps us clear the enemy's deck to OTK, defend if we go turn 1,...

However, the effects of Sky Striker require us to NOT have monsters in the Main Monster Zone, so after summoning Number C5 in the Extra Monster Zone, please consider when summoning additional monsters (summon via Glorious Number or Skill).

Depending on your preferences and the cards you have in your Acc, choose the Techs that help you Clear the enemy's field to easily OTK. These guys take up about 5-6 deck slots, more is OK depending on the cost and preferences.

Many people forgot about this card until PlayMakerYugioh released the video. I really think this card is perfect for the Deck, even better than Sky Striker's Eagle Booster. Because Number C105: CCD has no protection effect, Eagle Booster and this card are needed to protect the Boss.

When summoned, CCD will be protected by this card, unable to be Destroyed, unable to be Targeted by the opponent's effects (counters a lot of decks, for example Resonators) but the good thing is behind: Increase 300 ATK (not significant) while also giving CCD the ability to directly attack the base point (because CCD has met the condition of having the opponent's monster material through Skill).

Make the opponent take 7000k DAME punch straight to the mouth in surprise without being able to do anything

If you are unlucky enough to go first due to Coin Toss, don't worry because this deck isn't that bad at going first. It can still set up 2 Negate + these staples face down on the field and prepare for the next Turn.

You can also defend with Sky Striker but you won't be able to Set up 2 negates with Number C104. It should also be said that if you meet Utopia, you will lose no matter what if you go first, so you can leave them behind and let All in Tech fight in Turn 2 :V

Some other leaves can be added.

Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force will help us Rank up Number 104 to Number C cards just like the card above.

Phantom Knight's Rank-Up-Magic will help us Rank-up Number C104 to Number 24, adding the ability to interrupt and destroy enemies.

Autonomou Action Unite helps revive Numbers that were originally ours in enemy graves.

Some things to say

This deck reminds me of a few years ago, there was also an OTK deck with full Spell like this, that is OTK with Archfiend Black Skull Dragon . But back then the tech and engines were quite primitive, I can say that this deck is much better.

And that's the whole Deck. As you can see, this deck has one major weakness: sometimes you don't draw the Rank-Up Spell card needed to activate your ability. Perhaps this can be solved by playing less Eagle Booster or Time Thief Hack   more, but I really like having these 2 cards because they can make a huge difference.

And here’s another weakness of this deck: it’s just a one trick deck, and skilled players with good decks will have no trouble against it. Luckily, I don’t bring this deck to tournaments. I only play in casual ranks. So there aren’t many opponents like that.

This deck can steal some wins from the weaker decks in the ladder. It might be a great deck to climb to Platinum, for example – when most players still don’t know what they’re playing. But if you’re playing against decks like Resonator, Predaplant, or the new Shaddoll decks… please, don’t play this deck. Don’t play this deck. Many people like to build all in on turn 2 because they know that even with 2 Negates + a pile of facedown cards on the field, they won’t win.

My advice to you is: don't overuse this deck. It's fine if you're just farming NPCs, but not good for playing against real players at Legend rank.
