Tournament Information
- The KC Grand tournament is divided into two stages.
- Stage 1 takes place from May 30 to June 13 .
- Qualifiers will open for Duelists who reach DLv. 25 starts on June 10 and ends on June 13.
Stage 1
Information
- The first phase of the KC GT Preliminary Tournament plays very similarly to Ranked Duel.
- Reaching DLV MAX allows players to compete in the Qualifiers.
- Gems, tickets and gold are given to players for each DLV level.
- Your DLV. will start at the following levels depending on your rank in Season 75 (April) of Ranked Duel:
Stage 2
- Stage 2 of the KC Cup follows an ELO system, with points gained/lost for each win or loss.
- Duels are global and not just regional.
- Based on the player's global ranking at the end of the event, they will receive a certain amount of tickets as well as other rewards.
- The top 100 players in the Qualifiers will qualify for the Main Tournament in August 2022.
- Players who played in Season 75 of Ranked Duels (April) get increased DLv for Stage 1 and automatically receive rewards for previous DLv
Reward
The top 100 players in the Qualifiers will qualify for the Main Tournament in August 2020. Previously, after completing certain rounds of Stage 1, Duelists will receive corresponding rewards:
Main tournament
- KC GT Main Tournament will be an online event held in August 2022 .
- Participants will include previous KC Cup Winners and Top 100 Players from the KCGT Preliminary Tournament
- The event will include Stage 1 and Top 16.
- Event dates, times and details are still under consideration and are subject to change
