Deck's bond with other insect monsters
Doom Dozer
ATK:
2800
DEF:
2600
Cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 Insect-Type monsters from your Graveyard, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: Send the top card of their Deck to the Graveyard.

2500
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If your opponent controls a "Kaiju" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 "Kaiju" monster. When your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s): You can remove 2 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; until the end of the next turn, that monster(s) cannot attack and it has its effects negated.
Gadarla, the Mystery Dust Kaiju
ATK:
2700
DEF:
1600
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's side of the field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If your opponent controls a "Kaiju" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 "Kaiju" monster. Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can remove 3 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; the ATK and DEF of all other monsters on the field become halved.
Beetrooper Sting Lancer
ATK:
2400
DEF:
1800
During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Insect monster in your GY and 1 monster in your opponent's GY; Special Summon this card from your hand, and if you do, place the targeted monsters on the bottoms of the Decks. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Beetrooper" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Beetrooper Sting Lancer" once per turn.
Resonance Insect carries both effects that are fully utilized in Beetrooper.
If this monster is sent from the field to the grave, you can add 1 level 5 or higher insect monster from the deck to your hand.
With a number of deck extenders, Resonance Insect is very easy to trigger its first effect by using this monster as a link summon material. Resonance Insect uses its normal summon during the turn to quickly use its first effect by using it as material to link summon Salamangreat Almiraj.
One of the targets in this effect of Resonance Insect is Doom Dozer, Sting Lancer or two Kaiju monsters Gadarla and Kumonguos.
For Beetroopers, getting Resonance Insect to trigger the second effect (triggered if this monster is removed from the game) is not too difficult. Targets to send from the deck to the grave for this effect can be Gokipole, monsters to prey on Assault Roller or Battlewasp - Arbalest the Rapidfire to use the effect.
Furthermore, both effects of Resonance Insect have unlimited uses per turn.
Foolish Burial, Gokipole and Killer Needle (Gokipole and his accomplices)
Gokipole
ATK:
1000
DEF:
1200
If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 Level 4 Insect monster from your Deck to your hand, then, if you added a Normal Monster, you can Special Summon it, then you can destroy 1 monster on the field with ATK greater than or equal to that Special Summoned monster's. You can only use this effect of "Gokipole" once per turn.
Gokipole also has a search effect when sent to the grave like Resonance Insect. Unlike Resonance Insect, Gokipole can activate effects when sent from anywhere to the grave, but Gokipole only allows you to take 1 insect monster of exactly level 4. Resonance Insect, Retaliating “C” can be the target. suitable for this effect of Gokipole.
Foolish Burial is a reasonable choice to help you trigger Gokipole's effects faster.
If Gokipole uses the search effect and takes 1 normal monster from your deck to your hand, you can special summon that monster to the field, then you can destroy 1 additional special summoned monster on the field. field with ATK higher or equal to that vanilla monster's ATK.
Maxx "C" and Retaliating "C" (Cockroach family)
Retaliating "C"
ATK:
1400
DEF:
1400
During either player's turn, when your opponent activates a Spell Card that includes an effect that Special Summons a monster(s): You can Special Summon this card from your hand. If Summoned this way, while this card is face-up on the field, any card sent to the Graveyard is banished instead. If this card is sent from the field to the Graveyard: You can add 1 EARTH Insect-Type monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand, except "Retaliating "C"".
Retaliating “C” is a floodgate that can be played during your opponent's turn when they use a spell with the effect of special summoning a monster, this monster can be special summoned from the hand. With this effect, when on the field, Retaliating “C” is a huge annoyance for some decks that consider the grave as home, any cards that go to the grave are removed from the game.
In addition, Retaliating “C” is another version of Resonance Insect and Gokipole. When sent from the field to the Graveyard, Retaliating “C” will let you add 1 EARTH insect monster of 1500 ATK or lower from your deck to your hand. The targets for this effect of Retaliating “C” are Resonance Insect, Gokipole, Maxx “C”.
What makes this deck's gameplay stand out compared to other decks is that Maxx "C" can be searched and recycled, a hand trap that any combo deck is afraid to encounter. With this, it will be even more difficult for the opponent to decide whether to destroy your Retaliating “C” or not. If they take Retaliating “C” to the grave, you can get Maxx “C” from the deck. hand and continue to prevent them from comboing, if not destroyed, Retaliating “C” will become an extremely annoying floodgate when on the field.

By equipping a monster on the field with 1 Resonance Insect, Gokipole, or Retaliating “C”, if the equipped monster is no longer on the field, the equipped cards are dropped to the grave and they can trigger actions. effect when taken from the field to the grave.
Inzektor Picofalena is also a monster that helps you restore insect monster resources in the main deck and extra deck.

2 Insect monsters You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Insect monsters. You can only use each of the following effects of "Beetrooper Armor Horn" once per turn. During your Main Phase, you can: Immediately after this effect resolves, Normal Summon 1 Insect monster. If this card is in your GY: You can banish 3 other Insect monsters from your GY; Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field.
The key to the combo is that you must send 2 Resonance Insect, Retaliating monsters from the field to the grave and must link summon Armor Horn to take advantage of the normal summon effect of 1 more insect monster.
Doom Dozer is a very important monster in this combo because it is a monster that is highly linked to Resonance Insect. Doom Dozer is taken from the deck to the hand with Resonance Insect and helps Resonance Insect trigger the remaining effects.
Don't forget that Pin the Bullseye also has the side effect of burning 200 of your opponent's LP.
Resonance Insect, Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye and Killer Needle (Combo 2.5 card)
Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye
ATK:

DEF:

If you control an Insect monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. During your Main Phase: You can inflict 200 damage to your opponent for each "Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye" you control. You can only use each effect of "Battlewasp - Pin the Bullseye" once per turn.
The above combo can be optimized if you have any other card in your hand at the beginning of the combo (2.5 card combo), the steps are almost the same as the previous combo.
- Normal summon Resonance Insect.
- Special Summon the remaining insect monster.
- Use 2 monsters to link summon Armor Horn.
- Trigger the effect of Resonance Insect in the grave, add Doom Dozer from your deck to your hand.
- Summon Doom Dozer by removing Resonance Insect (required) and 1 other insect monster.
- Continue triggering Resonance Insect's effect, sending Gokipole from the deck to the grave.
- At this step, there will be a difference. Trigger Gokipole's effect when sent to the grave, add Arbalest the Rapidfire from your deck to your hand.
- Activate Armor Horn's effect, normally summoning Arbalest the Rapidfire from your hand.
- Activate Arbalest the Rapidfire's effect when normal summoned, target, and re-summon Gokipole from the grave.
- Use Arbalest the Rapidfire and Gokipole to summon link 2 to Picofalena.
- When Link Summoned, Picofalena can discard 1 card from her hand to equip 1 insect monster from her deck to another insect monster on your field. Use this effect to equip Retaliating “C” from the deck to Armor Horn (required) by discarding the 3rd card at the beginning of the combo.
- Use 2 monsters (Armor Horn and Picofalena) to link summon 4 to Invincible Atlas.
- Retaliating “C” is sent from the field to the grave because the monster it is equipped to has gone to the grave, activating the effect of when Retaliating “C” is sent from the field to the grave, taking Maxx “C” from the deck to the hand.
- Return to the final steps like the combo above, activate the effect of Invincible Atlas, sacrifice Doom Dozer to summon Sting Lancer from the deck to the field.
- Activate Sting Lancer's effect when summoned, add counter trap Fly & Sting from deck to hand.
- Set Fly & Sting from hand to the field and end the combo.

You can target 3 Insect monsters in your GY; shuffle them into the Deck, then draw 1 card. You can only use each effect of "Inzektor Picofalena" once per turn.
At the end of the combo, the field and cards in your hand remain unchanged compared to the above combo (lost 1 more card in hand due to Picofalena), but the thing worth mentioning about this combo compared to the above combo is that you still have the Armor Horn. in the Graveyard and enough resources to summon this monster again next turn to take advantage of the double summon effect without having to spend monsters on the field to link summon the Armor Horn again.

After you activate a "Hole" Normal Trap Card, you can Set it instead of sending it to the GY. During your End Phase: You can target 1 "Traptrix" monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position.
Traptrix Myrmeleo
ATK:

DEF:

This card is unaffected by the effects of "Hole" Normal Trap Cards. When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Hole" Normal Trap Card from your Deck to your hand. If this card is Special Summoned: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; destroy that target.
The deck can also be played in conjunction with the Traptrix engine.
- Myrmeleo will help you get a Hole trap card into your hand from the deck when normally summoned. Myrmeleo can easily be taken out of the deck thanks to Gokipole and normally summoned thanks to Armor Horn.
- Combined with Cularia (which can be link summoned with 2 insect monsters), Treacherous Trap Hole can be reused every turn and comes with the ability to trigger Insect Shinobi Hagakuremino's effects. Furthermore, Fly & Sting can return to the field from the grave every turn, helping Treacherous Trap Hole always meet the activation conditions.
- Besides Treacherous Trap Hole, Gravedigger's Trap Hole is also a target that both prevents monster effects and causes a fair amount of damage to the opponent.
- Furthermore, Cularia can also summon Myrmeleo from the grave each end phase, allowing you to destroy one more spell/trap of the enemy. However, Cularia is a plant monster, not an insect, you need to summon this monster as soon as possible to avoid other deck restrictions.

Cicada King is a 1 that prevents the opponent's monster effects and can protect your combo from the opponent's monster monster hand traps. In addition, this monster also has the ability to special summon 1 insect monster from the hand or grave (defense position) if this monster is changed to battle position. Scary Moth (El Shaddoll Winda of insects) or Silent Insect are good target monsters for Cicada.
Danger! Mothman! is a monster that helps you filter the cards in your hand, increasing your ability to draw additional cards needed for combos.
Aztekipede is another version of Assault Role.
Insect Shinobi Hagakuremino is a 2nd link monster that can revive level 4 or lower insect monsters from the grave.

Some insect monsters have the advantage of having unlimited buffs per turn so the deck can maximize its resources.
Resonance Insect is an example, this monster can take advantage of normal summons to trigger effects as well as trigger many more times thanks to other cards such as Picofalena, Cicada King, Armor Horn.
Retaliating “C” is also an insect monster with the ability to use unlimited effects per turn, however it seems that due to the limited number of cards this monster can access, Retaliating “C” cannot cause damage. Despite previous impressions, this monster along with Resonance Insect rarely appears and has only been used a lot recently because Beetrooper made the insect monsters more interconnected.

With the difficulty of having a number of monster resources available in the grave that must be prepared in advance, Doom Dozer also does not have a limit on the number of times it can be summoned per turn because it is both a monster that cannot be summoned normally and It takes 2 insect monsters from the grave to summon to the field.
Aztekipede is also an insect monster with an unlimited number of summons per turn, however you will not want to play many of these monsters in your deck because removing an insect monster from the grave that cannot be summoned will often cause This monster should not appear at the beginning of the game to take up the space of another combo piece, 1 is the maximum number of this monster that can be used in the deck.
However, modern extenders have limitations!

However, for Assault Roller, which has the ability to spam monsters as it is and can be easily added to the hand, the ability to special summon by removing 1 insect monster from this monster's grave has been eliminated. Limited to only 1 time per turn.
With the special self-summoning ability from insect monsters, this ability is also limited to only 1 time/turn such as Pin the Bullseye, Scale Bomber (can be used to chain block), Beetrooper Descent, Twinbow the Attacker .

You can only use this effect of "Battlewasp - Twinbow the Attacker" once per turn. This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase.
To prevent insect decks from summoning rank 3 or linking powerful staple monsters too easily, Scout Buggy and Twinbow the Attacker have limited your special summons to insect monsters only. This is understandable because it is easy to avoid letting players access monsters like Cherubini and perform Adventurer combos. Cicada King is a rank 3 insect monster with not bad effects to support insect monsters.
