Instructions for new players: Getting acquainted with Master Duel

This article will guide newbies when they have just started using Master Duel and don't know which interface, mode, or deck they should get used to first.

Certainly for a completely new person who doesn't know anything about Master Duel or TCG, OCG, in general Yu-Gi-Oh! As soon as the game starts, Master Duel will briefly instruct you on the rules of the game. But for more clarity, you should learn about the Rule Book of Yu-Gi-Oh!

However, the purpose of this article is not only to tell you the above information, but to guide all players (whether they know or not know about Yu-Gi-Oh!), to get acquainted with Master Duel right away. when just starting the game .



Information

Basically, the first main source of Gems comes from Duels in Solo Mode and lifetime missions. There's also a very good deck for PVE - Player versus environment (Shiranui) that you can unlock by doing the above, which is what we're trying to achieve. By doing the steps mentioned below you will have around 10000 Gems!

When you start the game, you will automatically be taken to this tutorial. You can choose to skip these instructions and still get 1000 Gems and 1 of 3 starter decks! The starting deck choice doesn't matter as you can eventually get all 3 from later missions.

The starting point is very practical. You have access to Solo Mode from the start. It is divided into 2 branches. The main branch has 6 matches, which and offers rewards such as Raigeki, Monster Reborn and Reinforcement of the Army, as well as Mate Sangan! The branch above has 4 quick guides on the summoning mechanism, each giving you 600 Gems. Upon completion, you will receive 2400 Gems immediately. You'll want to complete Solo Mode as soon as possible.

After completing the first 2 instructions, you can unlock 2 story modes. There is a difference between "finishing" and "finishing" story mode.

To unlock the next story modes, we just need to clear a few of them. Clearing a mode means only going from "Scenario" to "Goal", so you need to focus on clearing as quickly as possible. The upper branch can be accessed later to receive rewards such as comestic and Gem, tickers, but those matches are somewhat more difficult so we will not focus on them now (mostly use My Deck to get Gem or ticket for quick).

To get the Shiranui deck, clear the following story modes:

  1. "The Absolute Monarch"
  2. "The Warriors of the Six Elemental Lords"
  3. "Ruin and Demise"
  4. "The Pyroxene Warriors"
  5. "Studying the Origin of the Karakuri" (this unlocks the Shuranui story)
  6. "Specter Slaying Flames"

After clearing Specter Slaying Flames, you will have access to the base of the Shiranui deck as well as about 10000 Gems from lifetime quests.



What to do now?

Eventually, you'll want to clear all solo modes to get all the remaining Gems, but for now you want to focus on creating a deck that you can engage in PVP with. I highly recommend buying at least two bundles in the shop ( Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring and Lightning Storm ). If you're not sure which deck to build, we've prepared 2 cheap and improved versions for Shiranui that you can build entirely with free bundles, techs, and crafting R and N cards.

                                            Conclude

                                            Although this method allows you to get a lot of Gems quickly, you should not get them from the quest menu, because they have a limit of 10000 and then the remaining Gems will go to the gift box (Gift box - symbol (think of the corner gift box on the screen) where they expire after a month, while they can stay in the lifetime quest indefinitely (make sure you collect the quests on time though!)
