Overview & gameplay
Eldlich is a control-oriented deck. The deck has a completely unique gameplay compared to other control decks, which is to summon the deck's own trap monsters and use the side effects of these cards to break the opponent's combo. The side effects of these trap monsters can only be used when Eldlich the Golden Lord is on your field. Golden Lord is the only monster currently in the main deck of this deck, so Golden Lord is the most important monster and is a very strong highlight as well as a fatal weakness of the Eldlich deck.
Components of the archetype
Eldlich is a card clan consisting of cards revolving around a representative monster, Eldlich the Golden Lord . The card clan includes many small card clans (without " Eldlich " in the name) that can support each other well:

Eldlixir of White Destiny, Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine and Eldlixir of Black Awakening (Eldlikhir)
Eldlixir of White Destiny
Special Summon 1 Zombie monster from your hand or GY, but if you control no "Eldlich" monsters, you can only Special Summon "Eldlich" monsters with this effect. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Zombie monsters. During your Main Phase: You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Golden Land" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use 1 "Eldlixir of White Destiny" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine
Special Summon 1 Zombie monster from your Deck or GY, but if you control no "Eldlich" monsters, you can only Special Summon "Eldlich" monsters with this effect. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Zombie monsters. You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Golden Land" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use 1 "Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Eldlixir of Black Awakening
Special Summon 1 Zombie monster from your hand or Deck in Defense Position, but if you control no "Eldlich" monsters, you can only Special Summon "Eldlich" monsters with this effect. For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Zombie monsters. You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Golden Land" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use 1 "Eldlixir of Black Awakening" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Eldlixir : includes spells, traps and has 2 effects. You can only use 1 effect of each Eldlixir card during your turn.
- The effect when the card is activated lets you summon 1 zombie monster from your deck, hand, or graveyard (based on the card's effect), however if your field has no Eldlich monsters, you can only summon monsters. Eldlich beast . After you use this effect, at the end of your turn, you can only special summon zombie monsters.
- You can discard Eldlixir cards from the Graveyard to place 1 Golden Land spell/trap from your deck on the field.
Conquistador of the Golden Land, Seven Cities of the Golden Land and Golden Land Forever! (Golden Land)
Conquistador of the Golden Land
Special Summon this card as a Normal Monster (Zombie/LIGHT/Level 5/ATK 500/DEF 1800) (this card is also still a Trap), then, if you control "Eldlich the Golden Lord", you can destroy 1 face-up card on the field. During the End Phase: You can banish this card from your GY; Set 1 "Eldlixir" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck. You can only use 1 "Conquistador of the Golden Land" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
Seven Cities of the Golden Land
During your Main Phase: You can Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using only Zombie monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. If a Zombie monster(s) is Special Summoned by card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 Set card in a Spell & Trap Zone; that Set card cannot be activated this turn (even if this card leaves the field). You can only use each effect of "Seven Cities of the Golden Land" once per turn.
Golden Land cards include:
- Eternal traps: are LIGHT Zombie-Type trap monsters. When summoned, if there is a Golden Lord on the field you will be able to use their side effects. You can discard these cards from the Graveyard at the end of your turn to set 1 Eldlixir spell/trap from your deck to the field. However, you can only use 1 effect of Golden Land cards in 1 turn.
- Seven Cities : is a permanent spell of Golden Land that has an effect that helps you summon fusions.
- Golden Land Forever! : The deck's counter trap can activate spell/trap cards and monster effects.
Cursed Eldland and El Dorado Adelantado (Other Eldlich direct support)
Cursed Eldland
You cannot declare attacks, except with Zombie monsters. You can only use each of the following effects of "Cursed Eldland" once per turn. ● You can pay 800 LP; add 1 "Eldlich" monster or 1 "Golden Land" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. ● If this card is sent from the Spell & Trap Zone to the GY: You can send 1 "Eldlich" monster or 1 "Golden Land" Spell/Trap from your Deck to the GY.
El Dorado Adelantado
If you control an "Eldlich" monster: Activate 1 of these effects; ● Shuffle 3 of your banished "Eldlixir" Spells/Traps with different names into your Deck, and if you do, destroy all cards on the field. ● Shuffle 3 of your banished "Golden Land" Spells/Traps with different names into your Deck, and if you do, halve your opponent's LP, then you gain LP equal to their LP. You can only activate 1 "El Dorado Adelantado" per turn.
- Eldland : is a permanent spell that helps you get Eldlich and Golden Land cards into your hand every turn. Because it doesn't have the same name as the card's clan, Eldland can only be used by drawing it to your hand.
- El Dorado Adelantado : Trap card has the ability to help Eldlich decks recover discarded cards.

Golden Lord is the main monster of the Eldlich deck, this monster has both effects along with attack and defense worthy of being a boss monster of a deck.
Effect (1) allows you to send 1 card on the field to the grave (with target). The cost of this effect is to send this card and 1 other spell/trap from TOP HAND to the Graveyard.
You can use this effect as a way to remove enemy monsters, spells, and traps.
Because this effect SENDs cards from the field to the grave, anti-DESTROY protections are completely useless against this effect.
This is an effect that activates from the hand, so Skill Drain or Infinite Impermanence will not be able to prevent this effect.
Use this effect to help Eldlich get through enemy floodgates.
Effect (2) helps you return this same card from the grave to your hand at the cost of sending 1 spell/trap from your FIELD to the grave, then you can summon 1 zombie monster from your hand (this monster grants At the end of the opponent's turn, the opponent's ATK/Def will increase by 1000 and cannot be destroyed by effects).
Cursed Eldland (Play the maximum amount)

Eldland is a permanent spell card that can help you add 1 Eldlich monster or 1 Golden Land spell/trap from your deck to your hand each turn.
When Eldland is sent from the field to the grave, you can send 1 additional Eldlich monster or 1 Golden Land spell/trap from the deck to the grave.
Conquistador of the Golden Land and Huaquero of the Golden Land (Play 2 to 3 of each card)

Scarlet is an Eldlixir trap card that helps you summon Eldlich monsters directly from the deck (sometimes from the grave). Taking advantage of the trap card, you can completely chain Scarlet after Conquistador or Huaquero so that trap monsters can successfully use side effects.
Eldlixir of White Destiny and Eldlixir of Black Awakening (Play 1 of each card)

Golden Land Forever! are counter traps that can be removed from the deck using Eldland or Eldlixir cards. The condition to activate this card is that you must have at least 1 Eldlich monster on the field.
