Cyber Dragon is a machine Deck consisting of machines "piloted" by the GX character Zane Truesdale . It mainly focuses on summoning high attack monsters that attack multiple times . This guide will focus on the supports included in Starving Venom and the new Skill that turns Cyber Dragon into an XYZ focused deck while still retaining the old Fusion essence .

Skill
Immortal Cyber Style (Skill Card) (100%)
Immortal Cyber Style (Skill Card)
ATK:
0
DEF:
0
You can only use this Skill's second and third effects once per turn. 1: You cannot Normal or Special Summon any monsters except for Machine and Dragon "Cyber" monsters and Level 5 or higher LIGHT Machine monsters (excluding Special Summons from the Extra Deck). 2: During your Main Phase, send 1 "Cyber Dragon" from your Deck to the Graveyard. 3: During your Main Phase, you can make all monsters you currently control Level 5 until the end of the turn.
1- You can send a Cyber Dragon from the Deck to the Graveyard.
2- You can adjust the level of all your monsters to level 5 until the end of your turn. Both effects can be activated every turn .
This makes Cyber Repair Plant a starter card and Cyber Dragon Nachster a combo card that produces XYZ , making it easier and faster to summon rank 5 XYZ by changing the levels of Cyber Dragon Core , Cyber Dragon Nachster , and Cyber Dragon Herz .
Monsters in Main Deck
All of the following monsters (except the original Cyber Dragon ) change their names to "Cyber Dragon" when they are on the field or in the GY . This is important because many cards specify this name to be used as Fusion Materials or to activate effects . If these monsters are negated on the field , their names change back to their original names .
Cyber Dragon (x2-3)
""Always a cyber dragon, a gigachad, unlike some cyber dragons who get negate and are no longer cyber dragons, with ATK enough to punch your self-esteem to death when you see a guy posting hentai and not giving a link." - Quote from Cat Gaming fool :v
Cyber Dragon Core (x3)
Cyber Dragon Core
ATK:
400
DEF:
1500
When this card is Normal Summoned: Add 1 "Cyber" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. If only your opponent controls a monster: You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Cyber Dragon" monster from your Deck. You can only use 1 "Cyber Dragon Core" effect per turn, and only once that turn. This card's name becomes "Cyber Dragon" while on the field or in the GY.
1- When Normal Summoned, this card adds a "Cyber" Spell from your deck to your hand . This is a MANDATORY EFFECT .
2- in the Graveyard , it can banish itself to summon a "Cyber Dragon" monster from the Deck if you have no monsters on the field and there is a monster on your opponent's side of the field.
A single Starter Monster can Search both Fusion Spells and other Spells to lead to stronger monsters so it should always be played at x3 copies.
NOTE : both effects are Hard One Per Turn , meaning if you activate a normal summon effect, you cannot activate the effect in the GY and vice versa.
Cyber Dragon Nachster (x3)
Cyber Dragon Nachster
ATK:
200
DEF:
200
This card's name becomes "Cyber Dragon" while on the field or in the GY. You can discard 1 other monster; Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can target 1 Machine monster with 2100 ATK or DEF in your GY; Special Summon it, also, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters. You can only use each effect of "Cyber Dragon Nachster" once per turn.
1- You summon this card from your hand by discarding a monster .
2- When summoned, this card special summons Cyber Dragon / Cyber Twin Dragon / Chimeratech Rampage Dragon / Cyber Dragon Infinity / Cyber Dragon Nova or Cyber Dragon Sieger from the GY .
A new Starter when paired with Skill and Monster Reborn can revive a lot of targets, especially Cyber Dragon Infinity since we only have x1. So always play x3.
Cyber Dragon Herz (x1-2)
Cyber Dragon Herz
ATK:
100
DEF:
100
This card's name becomes "Cyber Dragon" while on the field or in the GY. You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Cyber Dragon Herz" per turn, and only once that turn. ● If this card is Special Summoned: You can make this card's Level become 5 until the end of this turn, also, you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Machine monsters. ● If this card is sent to the GY: You can add 1 other "Cyber Dragon" from your Deck or GY to your hand.
1- When Special Summoning, you can change this card's Level to Level 5 until the end of your turn.
2- When sent to the GY, it will add a Cyber Dragon from the Deck/GY to the hand.
A rank 5 xyz material doesn't need a Skill to change levels because it can do it itself and restore the monsters in the main deck to prepare for the next turns . Should have 2 copies.
NOTE : Similar to Core, both effects are Hard One Per Turn
Extra Deck Monsters
Cyber Dragon Infinity and Cyber Dragon Nova (x2 - x1)
Cyber Dragon Infinity
ATK:
2100
DEF:
1600
3 Level 6 LIGHT Machine monsters Once per turn, you can also Xyz Summon "Cyber Dragon Infinity" by using "Cyber Dragon Nova" you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) Gains 200 ATK for each material attached to it. Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Attack Position monster on the field; attach it to this card as material. Once per turn, when a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it.
Cyber Dragon Nova
ATK:
2100
DEF:
1600
2 Level 5 Machine monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 "Cyber Dragon" in your GY; Special Summon that target. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 "Cyber Dragon" from your hand or face-up from your Monster Zone; this card gains 2100 ATK until the end of this turn. If this card in your possession is sent to your GY by your opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Machine Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck.
Cyber Dragon Nova and Infinity are the lords of mercenaries
Chimeratech Rampage Dragon (x1-2)
Chimeratech Rampage Dragon
ATK:
2100
DEF:
1600
2+ "Cyber Dragon" monsters A Fusion Summon of this card can only be done with the above Fusion Materials. When this card is Fusion Summoned: You can target Spells/Traps on the field, up to the number of Fusion Materials used for its Fusion Summon; destroy them. Once per turn: You can send up to 2 LIGHT Machine monsters from your Deck to the GY, and if you do, for each monster sent to the GY, this card gains 1 additional attack during each Battle Phase this turn.
Usually goes with overload fusion that can punch multiple times, dealing billions of damage, mills 2 LIGHT Machines (usually mills Herz and/or Core). And its mill effect if eaten by Negate, this card cannot punch multiple times. But because the mill effect is Soft Once Per Turn, if there are 2 copies of this card, it can mill 4 cards and each card can punch 3 times.
Cyber Twin Dragon (x1)
Fusion summon this one using 2 Cyber Dragons . It attacks twice in each Battle Phase .
Cyber End Dragon (x0-1)
Summon Fusion with 3 Cyber Dragons . It deals piercing damage but you will rarely summon it because it requires a lot of materials and does not give you card advantage. But sometimes it can be a good defensive option when summoned by Cyber Dragon Nova .
Cyber Dragon Sieger (x1)
Cyber Dragon Sieger
ATK:

2 Machine monsters, including "Cyber Dragon" This card's name becomes "Cyber Dragon" while on the field or in the GY. During each Battle Phase, if this card has not declared an attack (Quick Effect): You can target 1 Machine monster you control with 2100 or more ATK; for the rest of this turn, that monster gains 2100 ATK/DEF, also neither player takes any battle damage from attacks involving this monster. You can only use this effect of "Cyber Dragon Sieger" once per turn.
This card calls itself Cyber Dragon, the most confusing effect of this young man that newbies who just started playing Cyber Dragon always wonder about: this card will increase 2100 ATK for 2100 ATK or more monsters and Machine type before this card attacks, for example, it increases for Chimeratech Rampage Dragon, then SIEGE will not cause damage when hitting, so Rampage with 4200 ATK can punch 3 times and still cause damage, except SIEGEEEEE does not cause damage.
However, it is still quite necessary to help end the game quickly or protect you from end game attacks.
Chronomaly Vimana (x1)
Chronomaly Vimana
ATK:
2300
DEF:
2600
2 Level 5 monsters Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up monster on the field and 1 Xyz Monster or "Chronomaly" monster in your GY; that monster on the field gains half the ATK of that monster in the GY (until the end of this turn), then attach that monster from the GY to this card as material. Once per turn, when your opponent activates a monster effect (Quick Effect): You can detach 2 materials from this card; negate the activation.
Negateeeee!!. Easily summoned with skill.
Spell/Trap
Cyber Repair Plant (x3)
Cyber Repair Plant
If "Cyber Dragon" is in your GY: You can activate 1 of these effects. If you have 3 or more "Cyber Dragon" in your GY at this card's activation, you can activate both effects and resolve in sequence. You can only activate 1 "Cyber Repair Plant" per turn. ● Add 1 LIGHT Machine monster from your Deck to your hand. ● Target 1 LIGHT Machine monster in your GY; shuffle that target into your Deck.
This card can search for Galaxy Soldier, Jizukiru and Cyber Dragon monsters. This card can pick up Cyber Dragon monsters again to use Machine Duplication.
Cyber Emergency (x1-2)
Cyber Emergency
Add 1 LIGHT Machine monster that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, or 1 "Cyber Dragon" monster, from your Deck to your hand. If the activation of this card in its owner's possession was negated by your opponent's card effect and sent to your GY: You can discard 1 card; add this card to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Cyber Emergency" per turn.
Since it searches for Cyber Dragon monsters and not Cyber Dragons, it can search for those who consider themselves Cyber Dragons. And this card also punches negates in the mouth when they are negated and sent to the graveyard, you can pick it up and activate it again :D.
Since it is a starter , it has less monster targets to search and cannot recycle hot items compared to Cyber Repair Plant , so 2 copies are enough.
Cyberload Fusion (x1-2)
Cyberload Fusion
Fusion Summon 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck that lists a "Cyber Dragon" monster as material, by shuffling the Fusion Materials listed on it into the Deck, from among your cards on the field and/or your face-up banished cards, but monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn, except that Fusion Summoned monster. You can only activate 1 "Cyberload Fusion" per turn.
It summons a Fusion monster by shuffling the Fusion Material cards on the field or Face-up Banish back to the Deck (after which only that monster can attack for the rest of the turn.)
This is the main Fusion Spell .
NOTE : Since this is a Quick-Play spell, you can avoid being locked out by attacking with all your monsters before Fusion .
Cyber Revsystem (x0-1)
It summons a Cyber Dragon from the hand/GY and that monster cannot be destroyed by permanent card effects .
Mainly played to turn Cyber Dragon Core into a xyz combo card.
Overload Fusion (x0-1)
It summons Chimeratech Rampage Dragon by banishing fusion material from the field/GY. You will rarely use this card because it cannot be searched and is not powerful enough to help you win the game immediately when you draw it.
Tech
Jizukiru the Star Destroying Kaiju (x1)
Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju
ATK:
3300
DEF:
2600
You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) to your opponent's field in Attack Position, by Tributing 1 monster they control. If your opponent controls a "Kaiju" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand) in Attack Position. You can only control 1 "Kaiju" monster. When a card or effect is activated that targets exactly 1 card (and no other cards) (Quick Effect): You can remove 3 Kaiju Counters from anywhere on the field; negate that effect, and if you do, you can destroy 1 card on the field.
Being searchable and reusable by Cyber Repair Plant makes this card the best tech to use, meaning you can remove any of your opponent's monsters from the field at any time like Lyrilusc - Ensemblue Robin and Sky Striker Ace - Shizuku .
To remove this one after summoning, you can:
- attached as a material to Cyber Dragon Infinity .
- Destroy through Battle using the Cyber Dragon Nova or Cyber Dragon Sieger effect .
Always play at 1 copy.
Galaxy Soldier (x0 or x2)
Galaxy Soldier
ATK:
2000
DEF:
0
You can send 1 other LIGHT monster from your hand to the GY; Special Summon this card from your hand in Defense Position. When this card is Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Galaxy" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Galaxy Soldier" once per turn.
Another monster that can be added to your hand is Cyber Repair Plant . A level 5 material that adds a second copy of itself when special summoned. You'll use it mainly to extend your turn (I wouldn't say Cyber Dragon Nachster is better at this).
Forbidden Droplet and Book of Eclipse (x3)
Forbidden Droplet
Send any number of other cards from your hand and/or field to the GY; choose that many Effect Monsters your opponent controls, and until the end of this turn, their ATK is halved, also their effects are negated. In response to this card's activation, your opponent cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with the same original type (Monster/Spell/Trap) as the cards sent to the GY to activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Forbidden Droplet" per turn.
Book of Eclipse
Change all face-up monsters on the field to face-down Defense Position. During the End Phase of this turn, change as many face-down Defense Position monsters your opponent controls as possible to face-up Defense Position, then your opponent draws cards equal to the number of monsters changed face-up by this effect.
Must play in this meta.
Barrage Blast (x0-1)
Barrage Blast
Once per turn, you can detach any number of materials from Machine Xyz Monsters you control, then target that many cards on the field; destroy them. If a Machine Xyz Monster(s) you control is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is in your GY: You can banish this card and 1 Machine Xyz Monster from your GY; inflict damage to your opponent equal to the banished monster's Rank x 200.
You can benefit from it because all your xyz monsters are Machines, making our turn 1 stronger.

Tips & Conclusion
Tips
- The Cyber Dragon Herz monster target to recycle from the GY to continue depends on your decision for the next turn:
If you want to summon Chimeratech Rampage Dragon by Fusion or using Jizukiru, Star Destroying Kaiju , add Cyber Dragon Core to your hand.
If you want to do xyz/link plays or regenerate more monsters from the GY, add Cyber Dragon Nachster .
- If the endboard is Cyber Dragon Infinity with Cyberload Fusion , cyberload can help infinity evade a negate to successfully "Resolve" infinity's omni negate. It also helps other monsters evade disruptions in specific situations.
- Cyber Dragon Core 's graveyard effect and Cyber Dragon Nova 's ATK increase effect are the only major ways to banish face-up monsters in response. Cyberload Fusion material requirements . Another way is Barrage Blast 's GY effect by banishing Cyber Dragon Nova to the grave.
Conclusion
Even though Cyber Dragon has gotten an omni negate and a stable Skill, its turn 1 and turn 2 set-up is not enough to stop and beat most decks today and it doesn't have many good combos in this meta to be considered a meta deck, but it could have the potential to become more popular, more visible and stronger than its current state when the deck gets unlimits like Cybernetic Overflow. Thanks for reading this guide.
