Instructions for playing Vampire (combined with synchro monsters)
Introduce
Vampire is known for its familiar gameplay of using Kingdom to destroy opponents' cards and using xyz monsters to win. In this article, I will introduce the ways to play and the combination of Vampire with synchro monsters through a tuner monster called Plaguespreader .
Vampires

You can only gain this effect once per turn.) Each time your "Vampire" monster inflicts battle damage to your opponent: Gain the same amount of LP.
- Helps you normal summon 1 more Vampire monster.
Vampire's Desire (Core)

Activate 1 of these effects. ● Target 1 face-up monster you control; send 1 "Vampire" monster from your Deck to the GY with a different Level from that monster, and if you do, the targeted monster becomes the Level of that sent monster in the GY, until the end of this turn. ● Target 1 "Vampire" monster in your GY; send 1 monster you control to the GY, and if you do, Special Summon the targeted monster. You can only activate 1 "Vampire's Desire" per turn.
- Change monster level.
- Summon Vampire again from the grave.

Plaguespreader Zombie is a zombie tuner monster that can be played with Vampires.
- This monster can be sent from the deck to the grave with Gozuki , Samurai Skull , or summoned directly from the deck with the Monstermorph: Evolution skill.
- With the summoning effect from the grave having an unlimited number of uses, you can take advantage of this to summon many synchro and xyz monsters from the extra deck in 1 turn.
- To summon this monster from the grave, you need to return a card from your hand to the top deck. If summoned this way Plaguespreader will be removed if it leaves the field.
- Using Vampire's Desire helps you flexibly adjust the level of monsters when summoning synchro.
- You can use Plaguespreader and Retainer to summon xyz, this way both monsters will not be removed after using slack's effect and you can continue your combo with Plaguespreader .

- Use Gozuki or Samurai Skull to send Plaguespreader Zombies from the deck to the grave.
- Then recall Plaguespreader from the grave by returning 1 card from your hand to the top of the pile.
- Synchro summon using Plaguespreader along with Gozuki to create Coral Dragon .
Since Coral Dragon is a tuner monster, you don't need to worry too much about Plaguespreader being removed. Coral Dragon can be used with Retainer as a material to create a synchro 8 boss in your extra deck ( Shogunsaga ).

Ancient Fairy Dragon allows you to special summon a level 4 monster from your hand, in exchange you will lose the battle phase of that turn. Using this effect summons Familiar and Retainer to add more Vampire cards to your hand.
Summoned monsters using effects can also be used as synchro, xyz materials or used to sacrifice to Vampires to help you set up a strong field, so you cannot perform the battle phase during the turn. That's completely reasonable.
Effect (2) can help you replace another Kingdom from the deck. In one turn, each different copy of Kingdom will have an effect activated. Using this effect with Duke (unlimited number of times using the effect per turn), you can shoot up to 2 opponent's cards. and 1 field spell card of the opponent (if any). In addition, lp recovery effects are also essential for the Vampire deck to help you maintain a stable amount of lp to activate other effects.

To get to Stardust Chronicle faster, you can rely on support skills. With the Monstermorph: Evolution skill, you can easily call out your main monster in 1 turn.
Skill allows you to send 1 monster on your side of the field to the Graveyard and then summon a monster of the same type and attribute but with a level 1 higher. Skill can only activate once per turn and each time you lose 1500 lp.
Vampire cards with effects that pay lp to activate effects ( Familiar, Retainer, Vampire's Domain ) can help you easily meet the skill activation conditions in just turn 1.
Use the skill to summon Plaguespreader directly from the deck by sending Familiar from the field to the grave. Plaguespreader helps you call up to 2 synchro monsters thanks to this card's ability to summon from the grave. Because the monster summoned by the skill is completely random, you need to reduce the number of Retainers to 1 and should not play any zombie, DARK, level 2 monsters in the deck to ensure that Plaguespreader will be summon.

Stardust Chronicle 's summoning conditions are synchro monsters. So when you combo out this monster, you need to focus on summoning Coral Dragon (synchro tuner level 6) and Hastorr (synchro level 4).
Simply put, you need to get 3 monsters on the field: Plaguespreader (use skill), 1 level 4 monster (normal summon or use Vampire's Desire ), 1 level 2 monster ( Retainer ).
To summon Coral Dragon and Hastorr, you need to find a way to summon Plaguespreader with the skill Mostermorph: Evolution .
- Summon Coral Dragon with: Gozuki , Sorcerer , Samurai Skull , Vampire's Desire .
- Summon Hastorr with: Retainer or Vampire's Desire .
Use skill summon Plaguespreader to tune the 1st time to create a synchro monster, then use Plaguespreader 's grave effect to revive it and synchro summon a second monster.

Samuraisaga has the effect of preventing charging attacks from the opponent by switching their monster to defense position. The condition to use this effect is that you must have 1 zombie monster being removed with ATK higher or equal to the opponent's monster.
Tatsunecro can use Red Baron from his hand as material without having to summon Red Baron to the field. Tatsunecro will banish the Red Baron (2400 ATK) from his hand and prey on Samuraisaga . Use Vampire's Desire to flexibly change Tatsunecro 's level during synchro summoning.
Sometimes switching the opponent's monster's attack position is not the main purpose of Samuraisaga . The monsters that start the combo will often have low ATK. Take advantage of this to use Samuraisaga 's effect to return Familiar, Retainer, and Plaguspreader back to the deck to help you have more resources to play in the following turns.
Shogunsaga

When Shogunsaga is summoned, you can remove a zombie monster from the Graveyard to have this monster gain ATK equal to the ATK of the removed monster. When destroyed, Shogusaga helps you return other Shiranui monsters, or monsters like Familiar, Retainer, Samurai Skull so you can continue performing combos.
Plaguespreader is a monster best suited to summon Shiranui monsters:
- Combine with Gozuki, Samurai Skull, Sorcerer to summon Samuraisaga .
- Combine with Samuraisaga and Red Baron to summon Shogunsaga .
- Combine with Shogunsaga to summon Sunsaga .
When summoning Shogunsaga , you can remove Samuraisaga from the grave, Shogunsaga 's ATK increasing effect will sometimes not be important because you will use Shogunsaga as a material immediately after, the main purpose is that you can reduce 500 of Shogunsaga's ATK. 1 opponent's monster gains Samuraisaga 's effect when removed.
Your Sunsaga can shoot up to 2 opponent's cards if you continuously summon Samuraisaga and Shogunsaga .

Quariongandrax can banish up to 3 or more monsters from the field, from the opponent's grave when synchro summoned. This effect will make it very difficult for your opponent when you can remove all monsters on their field or banish cards from the grave, making them unable to use some effects.
This is also a synchro monster with difficult summoning conditions besides Stardust Chronicle .

This is a Vampire deck whose extra deck is synchro monsters that have flexible ways to play depending on the situation. The deck is very dependent on the monsters in the extra deck as well as having to activate skills to be able to combo flexibly. The deck has 3 main win conditions:
- Chronicle : has synchro materials which are synchro monsters. Carrying an effect that allows it to be immune to the effects of other cards and can revive additional monsters when destroyed, Chronicle is a suitable boss to help you stay on the field if you take the first turn.
- Sunsaga : has materials that are Zombie monsters. This is a monster that can destroy your opponent's cards when following. With huge attack power plus the support and abilities of other Shiranui, Samuraisaga, Shogunsaga, and Sunsaga are monsters that can finish off opponents very quickly.
- Quariongandrax : has ingredients for 2 or more tuners. Quariongandrax can be used in place of Chronicle or the Shiranui. With simpler ingredients than the rest of the bosses, with effects that can revive discarded monsters, you can set up Quariongandrax to go first if you can't get to Chronicle . This monster can also be used to finish off opponents with the ability to clear the field and the opponent's grave if it goes later.
Vampire's Domain, Vampire Familiar and Vampire Retainer (This is a deck that depends on skill)

The main monsters of the deck cannot be created simply with just 2 or 3 cards. So support from the Monstermorph: Evolution skill is necessary.
The key to the above combos is that you must find every way to actively use the skill. Vampire is a deck that can do that.
- Familiar : 500 lp for skill, get Retainer .
- Retanier : 500 lp for skill, get Vampire's Domain .
- Vampire's Domain : 500 lp for skill, normal summon 2 times per turn.
Simply put, you need to find a way to send Familiar and Retainer to the grave and skillfully use appropriate Vampire cards as their cost to complete the combo.
Backup strategy
Other synchro monsters in the extra deck also have effects to play independently in cases where you cannot summon the main monster.
- Coral Dragon can bombard cards.
- Hastorr can render enemy monsters useless.
- Samuraisaga is used to prevent otk.
- Shogunsaga can kill opponents unexpectedly.
Red Baron is also a good choice if you no longer have any resources related to the extra deck.
The fastest way to call Plaguespreader is through skill. In cases where you cannot use the skill, you can send this monster to the grave with Gozuki , Samurai Skull to continue the combo.
If you draw Plaguespreader to your hand, Vampire's Domain and Vampire's Desire will help you solve the problem.
- Vampire's Domain gives you one more normal summon of a Vampire monster. Use Plaguespreader as a sacrifice to Red Baron and then call this monster back from the grave to synchro 8, or you can summon Retainer , Sorcerer to synchro 4, 6.
- Vampire's Desire can target this monster, sending Familiar to the Graveyard for you to continue the combo. You can also send this monster to the grave with Vampire's Desire to summon a Vampire from the grave, Plaguespreader can easily re-summon from the grave and continue the synchro summon.
