The "Mayakashi" in the story use very powerful and terrifying Yokai magic, however this power cannot be used until nightfall. So they always seek to remove light from this world - which they absolutely hate - and put the world into eternal night so they can completely dominate. The leader of "Mayakashi" is a yokai who possesses the strongest Yokai Magic. During the day, she appears as a perfect woman, uses her physical beauty to deceive people's hearts, and takes advantage of the opportunity to try to learn about "Shiranui Style".


"Shogunsaga" always hunts "Mayakashi". However, that effort was not enough to seal the eternal "Mayakashi"... So, "Spiritmaster" and the others created the "Samsara" formation, giving a temporary body to the soul of "Samuraisaga". " was sealed, allowing him to reincarnate as "Sunsaga" and to seal "Mayakashi".


"Mayakashi" begins to show signs of returning after being sealed. However, "Squire" during that time inherited the "Shiranui Style". As a result, "Spectralsword" turns into "Spectralsword Shade". And by chance, "Squire", who spent most of his time practicing, had a fateful encounter with a woman. And that woman is none other than the fake form of "Yoko", who is slowly restoring her powers. This encounter makes the battle more intense and dramatic. "Squire", after being exposed to Yokai Magic from his encounter with "Yoko", combined this power with his sword, using additional "Success" formation to become " Shiranui Skillsaga Supremacy " .


"Yuki-Onna" begins to make her moves in the fierce battle between "Yoko" and "Skillsaga Supremacy". She silently approached the successor of the main base "Shiranui Style" and stole her power. Now "Yuki-Onna", gained the power of "Skillsaga Supremacy" and became " Yuki-Onna, the Absolute Zero Mayakashi ". With the power of both "Mayakashi" and "Skillsaga Supremacy" in hand, "Yuki-Onna" begins to carry out her plan to make the World covered by Eternal Darkness a reality...!!

If you have at least 12 "Mayakashi" cards in your Deck at the start of a Duel, then add 3 types of "Mayakashi" monsters to your Extra Deck. You can only Special Summon "Mayakashi" and Zombie-Type FIRE monsters during this Duel (excluding Special Summons from your Extra Deck). You can also use the below effects once during the Duel. If you have "Mayakashi" Synchro or Link Monsters on your field, then pick up to 5 "Mayakashi" Synchro Monsters of a different Level from your Extra Deck and send them to the Graveyard (monsters sent to the Graveyard can be Special Summoned).


At first glance, this skill seems quite useless. " Oh, can't Synchro slowly increase, so let's play another skill " until you realize that this deck has no space for Extra Deck if you play every Mayakashi Extra Deck Monster card.

If you start with 12 Mayakashi cards in your Main deck, 3 Mayakashi Synchros will be added to your Extra Deck. More specifically, levels 3, 7 and 11 will be added for free. This frees up 3 slots in your Extra Deck, leaving you to only think about level 9 cards,   Yoko, Graceful Mayakashi , and 2 Links when building a deck.

Well, there's also the level 5 card to think about, but it probably won't be that important thanks to the second part of the skill. This effect allows you to send up to 5 Mayakashi Synchros from your Extra Deck to the GY if you are controlling any Mayakashi Link/Synchros on the field. Meaning you can skip the whole boring synchro tower climb and go straight to Yuki-Onna, Ice Mayakashi . While it's true, this skill doesn't seem to do anything special, it does allow you to stuff at least 2 Link Monsters of each type, which wouldn't be possible without it. This also opens up the Extra for the Shiranui Synchros, combined with the Shiranui Spe ctralsword if you can get it down to the GY.

  • All Mayakashi Synchros can be special summoned by banishing another Zombie Monster from the Graveyard. But this can only happen if a higher level 2 Synchro Monster is destroyed by your opponent.

    If you don't understand what this means, here it is : Assuming level 11 Synchro is destroyed, level 9 Synchro can special summon itself. Repeat for levels 9 and 7, etc

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 "Mayakashi" monster from your Deck, except "Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi". You can only use this effect of "Hajun, the Winged Mayakashi" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except "Mayakashi" monsters.


Summons Dakki from the Deck when this card is Normal or Special Summoned. This is also a level 1 card, so you can change all Synchro to Link Climbing if you want. Perhaps there is no need to say anything more, just know that Hajun is the best starter deck because it has Dakki and everything to be flexible in gameplay.

Oh, and you also can't summon anything other than Mayakashi Monsters while Hajun is on the field. This is a pretty big side effect because you can't touch quite a few strong Extra deck cards.

If a Synchro Monster(s) in your possession is destroyed by battle or an opponent's card effect while this card is on the field: You can target 1 face-up monster on the field; its ATK/DEF become half its current ATK/DEF until the end of this turn. Link-2 of the deck, looks like it has no effect because it really is like that :V, the card is almost useless! However, it is still important because this is the first Link Monster you must summon to get higher Link.

Remember to special summon your Synchros to the middle Monster Zone if Yuki-Onna is on the field, as she will gain free self-protection if she only enters the Synchro. You also gain more protection if the Synchro you control is destroyed by an opponent's card, thanks to halving ATK/DEF until the end of EndPhase.

At least x2 for this card because of how the deck plays. When you play, you will see this card summon up to 2 times in 1 turn

If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 Effect Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects. (Quick Effect): You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 of your Zombie Synchro Monsters that is banished or in your GY.


Link-3 of the deck you will want to get to the GY as soon as possible. When special summoned, you can negate 1 effect of your opponent's monster. A very useful effect when going second and makes her a good target for your revival effects.

Most importantly, Icicle Yuki-Onna can banish herself from the Grave with a Quick Effect to Special Summon Zombie Synchro from your Graveyard or banish zone, most likely just one of the Mayakashi. This gives her a relative advantage as it activates Synchro's effect when summoned from the Graveyard, making her a card that can cause Disruption.

Typical gameplay in the new version of the deck will include going from Link-2 to Link-3, then back to Link-2 to get the Icicle in the GY.

Latest Synchro released. When special summoned from the Graveyard, Gahadokuro becomes a Beatstick with 3300 that is unaffected until the end of the turn. This makes it a very difficult wall to overcome and can easily stall your opponent during the turn. Unlike other Synchros, Gashadokuro's special summoning effect activates when destroying a Link Monster instead of a Synchro, meaning he will punish your opponents if they dare touch your beloved Yuki-Onnas.

Tengu will remove Spell/Trap when summoned from the Graveyard, and Oboro-Guruma will just be a name to send out and act as a food banish for your Synchros.

You can only control 1 "Dakki, the Graceful Mayakashi". When a "Mayakashi" monster(s) is Special Summoned to your field from the Extra Deck, while this card is in the GY (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon this card. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this effect, except "Mayakashi" monsters.


Center of the deck. She is a level 2 Tuner responsible for all the tasks of helping Synchro and Link for the deck. Because she is not limited to Once per turn, she can special summon herself from the Graveyard any time a Mayakashi monster is special summoned from the Extra deck.
And since you'll always be using her as an ingredient, she'll basically never go away.

Note that she has a different limitation than the other two Main Deck Mayakashi. You cannot special summon ANY monster other than Mayakashi from the Extra deck during the turn you want to use Dakki's effect. If you control a "Mayakashi" card, other than "Yuki-Musume, the Ice Mayakashi" while this card is in your hand or GY: You can Special Summon this card, then send 1 Zombie monster from your Deck to the GY. Extender level 1 of dec, quite ok to use. If you control a Mayakashi monster, you can special summon Yuki-Musume from your Hand OR GY, and in doing so, you can send ANY Zombie monster from your Deck to the GY. The effect is similar to Foolish Burial , as you will have many options. You can send   Shiranui Spectralsword and end the game on the next turn with Shiranui Synchro. You can also submit   Nine-tailed Fox for a powerful Attacker that can replace itself when destroyed. Or you can simply give the Bacon Saver to save yourself from the Battle Phase.

Note that when Yuki-Musume goes down to the GY, you always have access to her first effect. Do this so you always have a backup plan when Mayakashi is on the field.

You can only use 1 of the following effects of "Mayakashi Winter" per turn, and only once that turn. ● Send this card and 1 "Mayakashi" monster you control to the GY; draw 1 card. ● Banish this card and 1 Zombie monster from your GY, then target 1 "Mayakashi" monster in your GY; Special Summon it.


      A good tool to take advantage. The ATK reduction isn't really something to worry about, but it can be useful in some matches. However, the remaining two effects are both good.

      When you finish your Link Climbing, you can send Dakki and Winter from the Field to the GY to draw. This is very stable if you want to set up Winter in GY and potentially draw Staple.

      The GY effect mimics Synchros' special summon effect, allowing you to banish Winter and another Zombie in the Graveyard to special summon any Mayakashi in the Graveyard. Can also be used to bring Link-3 to Negate if you have used Yoko.

        Discard 1 card, then target 1 of your "Mayakashi" monsters that is banished or in your GY; Special Summon it. Your opponent cannot target it with card effects this turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck the turn you activate this card, except "Mayakashi" monsters. You can only activate 1 "Mayakashi Metamorphosis" per turn.


        A revive trap for Archetype. By discarding 1 card, you can summon any Mayakashi that is banned or in the Graveyard. Always remember that these types of revival effects are always beneficial because you can also activate Synchro Monster effs and Link-3 effs. Therefore, the leaf can also act as a lite Removal Trap.

You cannot apply that same effect of "Mayakashi Mayhem" for the rest of this turn. ● Draw 1 card. ● Set 1 "Mayakashi" Spell/Trap directly from your Deck, except "Mayakashi Mayhem". ● Send the 1 monster with the lowest ATK your opponent controls to the GY (your choice, if tied). ● Inflict 800 damage to your opponent. You can only activate the effect of "Mayakashi Mayhem" once per Chain.


          Mayhem is… quite magical and quite witty at the same time? It brings a lot of value to the deck every time you summon Zombie Synchro from the Graveyard or Banish Zone. It has 4 effects, all of which can be used in one turn, and you can choose which effect you want. You can get advantage from the first 2 effects, incredible removal with the 3rd effect, or random burn damage from the last effect. This is a card that punishes your opponent every time they destroy your Synchros. In reality, you'll only get to use one of the effects per turn, but when facing a desperate opponent, you'll gain more value.

          To compare in the current meta: The third effect is game-ending with decks like Kozmo and Tenyi (Send without targeting the grave). Kozmo will not be able to activate its leave-field effect and you can remove Tenyi's Berserker without activating Tenyi Spirit - Mapura or Tenyi Spirit - Shthana .

          You can discard 1 other "Mayakashi" monster; Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Yasha, the Skeletal Mayakashi" once per turn. You cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck, except "Mayakashi" monsters.


          In general, this is a monster that is often overlooked, but has recently been brought out of the cave thanks to new support. Yasha is a pretty good Extenedr to go second and can actually make the End board even stronger than usual.

          Cost of removal is usually not an issue, as Dakki and Yuki-Musume will be fine when taken to the GY. But most notably, Yasha is a 2k Beater that you can summon from Hajun for later turns. And it's also a 2k Monster that you can ban for Shiranui Shogunsaga 's effect, and you can also ban Yasha because he's not too important to lose. And of course, like Hajun and Yuki-Musume, you can only summon Mayakahis when he's on the Field.

          The card is good to keep track of, but really isn't necessary at all for the deck to be successful. He'd be even better if he didn't negate the monsters he summons, but his main use seems to be just to help you perform Link Summon again. …andndddd he has the same lock as Hajun and the others, you get the idea.

          While in the Grave, you can banish Spectralsword and another Zombie from your Grave to Synchro a Zombie right under the grave. Speaking of when playing with Shiranui Synchros, this is a pretty strong effect in every way. Tsuchigumo + Spectralsword is probably the most notable, as it makes Squiresaga able to Eliminate Monsters, Spell/Trap non-Target enemies, and also increase your Monster's ATK by 300 ATK. However, you cannot use this effect the same turn you send it to the Graveyard, so it is strictly for your second turn. Anyway, you can't use the Shiranui because Dakki locked you on turn 1.
