Instructions for playing Live☆Twin

Commenting on Live☆Twin, this is a deck that is quite easy to play and strong, but unfortunately it is not very cheap =)). However, a Meta is a meta, and if it's strong, it can't be mentioned and what's the point in looking at them.

Now let's see what this Archetype of cute V-tubers can do

overview

overview

The Vtuber twins debuted in Duel Links in the Deep Emotion box... however, they were not widely popular due to their rarity. Komoney was really too greedy to turn both starters into Ultra Rare, damn it.

A quick bit of information about Archetype : Live and Evil are a pair who work as adorable Vtubers by day and become "Phantom Thieves" by night. Their Livestream Channel serves as a way for them to become famous and control the population, while also facilitating certain individuals to carry out malicious requests that they make after nightfall. Most of these requests are just her actions of stealing things for customers, and this action is shown through the Evil Twin Traps cards.

This is a half-season Control Deck that revolves around winning through resource consumption. As time goes on, this deck becomes stronger due to the amount of value they can create. Normal Summon Live☆Twin Ki-sikil or Live☆Twin Lil-la to start, if not negated, this deck will receive a free draw every turn with the ability of Evil★Twin Ki-sikil and Destroy 1 with Evil★Twin Lil- la One per turn. Thanks to Ki-sikil's draw ability, we can easily get cards that can destroy enemy groups like Effect Veiler or Ice Dragon's Prision.

And below is an introduction to each leaf in Archetype:

One card combo, these 2 cards have the same effect, which is to special summon the other card (Lil-la or Ki-Sikil) from the hand or deck. However, it should be noted that you must not control any other monster on the field to activate and this is a hard one per turn.

The side effects of these two cards are what differentiates them: 1 card increases 500 LP, 1 card causes the enemy to lose 500 LP. Although it is not one per turn, in my opinion, this is not a very useful effect. Mainly, we will summon one of these two cards for Link to summon

Live☆Twin Home (x1)

Live☆Twin Home

This can be considered an Extender or an additional Starter . Summon 1 Live Twin from the deck at a cost of 1 card in hand. Paired with Secret Password , this deck has 9 different ways to deploy gameplay. This card is truly a savior if unfortunately we take Effect Veiler on turn 1 or lose our normal summon turn on turn 2.

Note : You cannot summon monsters other than Evil★Twin after using this card. This means that the Knightmare pile in the extra cannot be used

Secret Password (x2-3)

We can use this to get everything in the deck . It can also become a Starter/Extender when adding Live☆Twin Home or add some annoying ability with Evil★Twin Present . We can also search for Evil★Twin Ki-sikil & Lil-la if there are both Ki-sikil & Lil-la on the field, but this case usually happens on turn 3 onwards, we will mainly search for something more necessary on turn 1-2.

Really not necessary . Besides the cool name vc (GG EZ), these two cards are quite weak and only cost deck slots. So we won't put these two cards in

Disruption. It can become a Creature Swap card or simply a Clear backrow card if both Ki-sikil and Lil-la are on the field.

Meat helps you OTK . Normally this card is not used very often without Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny, but more positively it is still quite good to use in this original 4k point format.

The summoning effect of this card can be very helpful in destroying previously set up opp fields that are too strong. In addition, the 4.4k ATK index is very suitable for OTK or to overcome enemy boss monsters. . 90% of people will summon this card after Destroying a card with Lil-la's effect.

These two cards are the Heart and Soul of this deck . Ki-sikil (pink) will take on the draw ability for the deck and Lil-la (blue) will harass multiple opps with destroy each turn.

Lil-la usually only gets x2 in traditional YGO, but due to the way Duel Links work, I think she's a necessary x3 because the coin toss is unpredictable.

When going first, we often have to use x2 Ki-sikil (Pink), 1 to draw and 1 to set-up to summon Lil-la (Green) to destroy during opp's turn. Going second is the opposite, we will start with Lil-la to destroy a card immediately. Note that using their effect will lock you into only being able to summon Fiend , which means the nerf will not give you a Link 4 card on turn 4. Because of this Lock summon, Knightmare is highly appreciated when accompanied. vs decks.

Skill

The Legend of the Heroes. Give you 2k LP for free if you have both Evil★Twins Ki-sikil and Lil-la , and Recycle the Link Monsters and add Mekk Knight Crusadia Avramax to help you in some difficult situations. Personally, I think this is the most suitable skill for this deck, and any Char can be used, so choose it depending on your preference.

Fiend Farewell. Send Evil★Twins Ki-sikil & Lil-la from the Deck to the Graveyard when a monster you control is destroyed in battle. This is a skill that increases our OTK ability. Think of this skill as a Draw Sense skill without having to spend your normal Draw turn, although activating it will be a bit harder to achieve as most decks can now remove your Live Twins before attacking. labour.

This is an alternative case for Fiend Farewell . Although it costs a normal draw, it is easier to activate the skill. Besides, we already have Ki-sikil's drawing ability, so wasting a normal draw isn't too big

Can help you avoid effect targets on Live☆Twins , and exchange for cards your opponent has.

If you don't know how it works, here it is: Chain Link 1 Normal Summon Twin, Chain Link 2 Enemy Controller / Cynet Crosswipe . With E-Con, you can steal one of your opponent's monsters and Link them to the Twin for a free removal. As for Crosswipe, you can Destroy any card so we can use it to counter Backrow, and because your Field will be empty due to Crosswipe , when the new Twin is summoned from the deck, their Effect will activate, giving allows you to summon another Twin from your deck!

E-Con is easily preferred because it works on Fiend- Evil★Twins, while Crosswipe only works on Cyberse- Live☆Twins.

Ballista Squad

Ballista Squad can be considered Cynet Crosswipe when played with Evil★Twins, but is a Trap card. Removing an Evil★Twin from the field during your opponent's turn is often a valuable effect, as it makes the effects of other Evil★Twins usable . In these cases, Ki-sikil is often called out, meaning Ballista Squad not only translates to "Destroy a card" but also "Draw 1 card".

This is an alternative to Ki-sikil & Lil-la . "Chaos" monsters always work well with Twins because they have the Chaos Attributes of Light and Dark.

Although they cannot be searched in Archetype, the help of Draw Sense: High-Level will make them easier to draw into hand. Not having to tribute Evil Twins on the field is a big advantage for us unlike Evil★Twins Ki-sikil & Lil-la . Also, they actually have effects that can activate unlike Ki-sikil & Lilla, which 80% of the time won't be able to activate.

Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny

Even though it hasn't appeared in Duel Links yet, I'll still talk about it

  • Live☆Twin Ki-sikil Frost and Live☆Twin Lil-la Treat are both Extenders and the best targets to summon from the deck. Most notably, Ki-sikil Frost can help you gain more advantages thanks to the ability to draw cards by banishing yourself from the Graveyard when your opponent draws cards.

  • Live☆Twin Sunny's Snitch is a way to easily get starters and burn lp.

  • Evil★Twin Challenge is Monster Reborn and also has quite a bonus effect, Perfect Recovery.

  • Evil★Twin's Trouble Sunny fixes every problem the deck has. From dealing damage, dodging effects to destroying the enemy field, just like the name suggests.

Set up sân

  1. Normal summon or Live☆Twin and summon the remaining card in the deck.

  2. If you go first, summon Evil★Twin Ki-sikil. If going later, summon Lil-la (unless your opponent has nothing on the field)

  3. With Ki-sikil, summon Live☆Twin Lil-la back from GY.

  4. Link summons Evil★ Twin Lil-la and activates the effect that summons Evil★ Twin Ki-sikil back.

  5. Draw a card with Ki-sikil's eff and Link summons a new Ki-sikil from Extra using both Evil★Twins on the field and end your turn (remember to place any Spell/Trap before ending). !).

This is why Link Twins should be played x3, you will have to spend 2 of the copies on the first set-up. You will easily run out of resources and go offline in the following turns if you don't have x3. Also, why is the second effect of Skill Legends of the Heroes important, reusing Links to continue playing the game is very important.
