Instructions for Playing Ritual Beast

Instructions for Playing Ritual Beast

Should you play F2P: yes

Should newbies play: yes (really, not a joke)
Gameplay: Control

How to play: Use your 200 IQ to get 1 Beast and 1 Tamer, then throw the bird rider, then summon a dolphin and give a monster like a monster from the Extra Deck or Blue-Eyes, how to make more cards than your opponent and be great. Air opponents shoot spells/traps with dolphins and turn into riding lions and punch until the opponent has more cards to win (usually surrendering when the opponent is dizzy and has no more cards to play.

Ritual Beast only has 1 card capable of adding a card to the hand (Ulti-CannaHawk), so it must search through banish and get it back from the Banish Zone onto the field thanks to monsters from the Extra Deck, so Ritual Beast or put the card in hand thanks to Ulti- CannaHawk often plays with traps to buy time, trigger skills and then combo.

Core

Unlike the previous tutorials, because I have played a lot of control decks and am fluent in them, I will name the cards so they are easy to remember and understand :3

Winda has very good defense and search capabilities. When Winda is destroyed by battle or effects, Winda will summon 1 Ritual Beast, SKULLING SUMMARY CONDITIONS. You can defend 4 attacks by when Winda is destroyed, summoning another Winda and doing so until the last Winda . In addition, you can summon birds, dolphins, lions, ride lions,... for combos in the next turn.

Chim ( CannaHawk ) is a very powerful search, it allows you to banish 1 Ritual Beast monster from your Face-Up Deck and will return it to your hand during your 2nd Standby Phase without having to wait for the Standby Phase to get it back. deck (I will talk about it in the Extra Deck section). Chim has the ability to search and open very strong combos.

The Elder allows you to normal summon 1 more Ritual Beast monster after you normal summon him, this is a very powerful combo opening effect because Ritual Beast monsters can only be special summoned once per session. turns (excluding floods in Extra Deck). This is also a permanent effect so it is difficult to be nagged. However, this guy's ATK is only 200. If you bombard the monster that this old man just summoned (except Winda), it's considered that you only have 1 monster with 200 ATK to defend.

The Lion can banish 1 Ritual Beast monster from your grave to gain 500 ATK and can be used in both players' turns. This is the deck's recycler because decks in the grave will be more difficult to pick up in the Banish Zone (Extra Deck). will speak ). Although the 500 ATK buff lion effect does not affect lion riding , lions are mainly used for recycling so I don't really care about the 500 ATK extra effect.

Dolphins are the most hated monsters of this set because of their very annoying effects, specifically: you banish 1 Ritual Beast from your hand to Target and return 1 monster to your hand. It sounds simple, but it actually brings a lot more money to your hand in the grave or banish zone (except for yosenju or pendulum,...) when you spend 2 or more resources to summon 1 monster from the Extra Deck. When returned to your hand, you will lose 3+ (2 or more monsters to summon and 1 monster just pushed back), so dolphin is a very good card to clear the field and increase control ability.

Penguins ( Rampengu ) usually only appear in F2P decks because their combo ability is weaker than birds, so they should be replaced by a trap slot. Penguin has the ability to banish 1 Ritual Beast monster from the EXTRA DECK and then send another Ritual Beast monster to the grave, and as I said this deck would rather be banned than sent to the grave, and the monster sent from the Extra Deck is only to use for riding search birds (I will talk about it in the Extra Deck section).

Lara is a very strong recycle card after lion , because lion only banishes from the grave and Lara helps you pull a monster from the grave to the field to summon a monster from the Extra Deck, and that monster's effects are not prevented, so if Which one you recycle will trigger that child's effect. For example, drawing a lion will recycle 2 cards (1 lion + 1 lion card).

Birds help search, dolphins help clean the yard,...

Usually, few people play Wen and even x0 and almost only x1-2 appears in F2P decks. Although the ability to summon monsters from Banish Zone is very good at the end, the first phase is not as good as Winda or Gia and comeback like Lara (current Meta OTK is very fast), so Wen 's place in the deck is very small and is often replaced. by trap.

Bond is the contact fusion of Ritual Beast (I will talk about the Extra Deck part). Bond is mainly for OTK phases at the end of the match when the opponent has no more handtraps or cards to protect. In addition, Bond also helps dodge the target in battle and switch from attack to defense very flexibly.

Ambush is only weak to recycle resources and has a very effective 1-card ability (Ritual Beast Tamer + Spiritual Beast) but because it requires enough Ritual Beast Tamer and 1 Spiritual Beast to activate and even cause bricking, it does not create is difficult for opponents like Floodgate so usually only played 1.
Return is popular with many people because it banishes 1 Ritual Beast in hand (considered an additional resource because Banish Zone is also a resource of Ritual Beast). And you can choose 1 Ritual Beast monster in the grave or in the Banish Zone, but you don't have to have 2 monsters, so this is a very effective recycle and search card if you go with birds . Even opening combos.

Contact Fusion: is a fusion summon without fusion magic by returning 2 or more monsters to the deck.

(1) Ritual Beast is the same but instead of going to the deck, it goes to Banish Zone and requires 1 Ritual Beast Tamer and 1 Spiritual Beast
(2) On your opponent's turn, these mounts will put themselves into the Extra Deck to summon 1 Spiritual Beast and 1 Ritual Beast Tamer from the Banish Zone.
* Note: Winda is Spiritual Beast Tamer so it should be considered Spiritual Beast and Ritual Beast Tamer *
Riding a dolphin has effect (1) (2) and the effect is not destroyed. With 2k8 defense , riding a dolphin is currently difficult to survive and the most valuable ability of riding a dolphin is not being destroyed by card effects. But those who have faced Ritual Beast for a long time will never target Ritual Beast's Extra Deck monster, so this effect is quite useless compared to the other two monsters, so dolphin riding is usually played 1 or 0.
Lion Riding is the main damage of this set, has effects (1) (2) and when attacking this card is not affected by other effects until End Damage Step. A card with an attack power of 2600, although not too outstanding, if combined with dolphins or as a finishing card in the late stages of the match, it will be extremely beneficial if the opponent does not read the card text.
Riding a bird is the main searcher in the deck because it jumps and puts cards in the hand to use, not banish the grave like a bird . Bird Riding has both effects (1) and (2) and an effect that sends 2 Ritual Beasts from the Banish Zone to the grave and searches for 1 Ritual Beast card in your hand, this effect will still activate if you only send 1 monster to the grave instead because 2 (in the combo part I will talk).

Floodgate is a very effective synchro or Xyz or Pendulum counter card with the ability to set all the monsters the opponent summons at the same time in defense position. And the opponent cannot change this defensive position. Therefore, if a card that is not targeted is kept face down by this card, the dolphin will still return it to the hand as usual (in the case of Lunalight Saber Dancer).

MST is too familiar to us with the ability to shoot spells/traps that are quick-play and above all, it is not limited to 3 so it can be played with floodgate . MST is mainly to clear the way for Ritual Beast's combo to go smoothly. share more.
Chalice is similar to MST but is less used, it also clears the way for combos but by nagating monsters, not spells/traps, this deck is afraid of BE Spirit Dragon and they are not targeted, while chalice is the target so players often choose Floodgate over Chalice .

Ceiling allows you to destroy all face-up monsters on the field (and of course there is no target) when both players have 4 or more monsters on the field. This card has the ability to treat untargeted cards like Saber Dancer very well. In addition, you can trade profit if you destroy all the opponent's cards when you ride a dolphin (not destroyed by effects) or Winda (when destroyed, search for Ritual Beast on the field). Or ride a lion while attacking (immune to all effects).

Summon an Elder , when you have an Elder you have 1 more normal summon turn. You summon a bird , the bird activates the effect and removes the lion from the game. You use the old man and the bird contact fusion to summon the bird ride . Riding the bird, click effect 1 to select the bird and the lion (effect search) then immediately click effect 2 to select the lion and the old man . At this time, the old man and the lion will come out to the yard and take the bird to the grave. You search for 1 Return (if there is a return , search for 1 Tamer), use the lion effect to push the bird out. Contact fusion to ride a bird , use Return banish 1 Tamer to summon the bird , the banish bird gets 1 free card so you can banish whatever you like (if it were me, I would use Return banish Winda , then use the banish bird for 1 more Winda ). Use the bird-riding effect to select the lion and Winda to take to the grave, then use the bird-riding effect to select 2 Windas to summon to the field. At this point, you search for 1 free Ritual Beast, so you can search for anything (I usually choose dolphin or Ambush) . ). Set all traps or magic immediately (if possible). Use 2 Winda contact fusion to ride a dolphin and end the turn.

Note: if you separate from riding a dolphin when being hit, priority will be given to summoning Winda , then Winda will be summoned depending on the situation in order of priority: Other Winda > Dolphin > Lion ( Bird ) > Other Beast Tamer > Penguin .

Use the Old Man to summon the Dolphin , then the Dolphin banishes 1 card to push 1 card back to the opponent's hand (prioritizing monsters), (I will take the Lion as an example of the banished card ). Contact Fusion to ride a bird , ride the bird, click effect 1 to select the lion and dolphin and throw them into the grave, immediately effect 2 select the dolphin and summon the old man to the field, search Return . Use the dolphin to banish 1 card and push 1 more monster back, (I will call the banned card Winda ). Contact Fusion to ride the bird and use Return banish 1 Ritual Beast to bring back the lion from the grave. Use bird riding to select the old man and winda and throw him into the grave. Use effect 2 to select winda and he will be banned (search Bond ). Then use the lion to push the dolphin back to the Banish Zone.

Now you have 3 monsters, use 2 Ritual Beasts to Contact Fusion to ride a lion and punch the opponent for 2k6. Use Bond to select the lion and punch the remaining one for 2k6 more
2k6+2k6=5k2
