Speedroid was making waves and was on the tier list for a while but was immediately limited and disappeared. But it's okay, now we will dig it up and play, after all it is still one of the Top Decks
Speedroids are a combination of all Wind-Machine monsters that have the ability to easily and continuously synchro, thereby bringing out the boss Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon.
Instructions for playing Speeroid (After nerf)
Sections covered in this guide:
Core Main Deck
Speedroid Double Yoyo (x1)
Unfortunately, now we can't x3 Double Yoyo because limit 2 has been nerfed.
Speedroid Terrortop (x1)
Speedroid Terrortop
ATK:
1200
DEF:
600
If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Speedroid" monster from your Deck to your hand, except "Speedroid Terrortop". You can only use this effect of "Speedroid Terrortop" once per turn.
The divine Archetype Searcher, this is the card you always want to see in your hand and need to do everything to make sure you get it, allowing you to search for combo pieces like Speedroid Taketomborg or Speedroid Double Yoyo . At the same time, the ability to be searched with Wynn the Wind Channeler makes this card very visible in your Start hand.
Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice (x1 (can be x2))
This will be the main tuner for most of the Synchro summons you summon in Speedroids. This kid's effect is not one per turn so you can spam it continuously and Sychro continuously comes on the field. Combined with Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke and Speedroid Double Yoyo, you will be able to summon Red-eyed Dice from your hand or grave, so you usually don't want to draw Red-eyed too early. And it's very lucky for us =)) in this deck carrying skill game, based on the skill we can easily make this kid appear on the field to sit and dance.
Speedroid Taketomborg (x3)
Speedroid Taketomborg
ATK:
600
DEF:
1200
If you control a WIND monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Speedroid" Tuner monster from your Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can only Special Summon "Speedroid Taketomborg(s)" once per turn.
Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke (x1-2)
This will be one of the Playstarters that you will receive through the Clear Wing Acceleration skill to use with Double Yoyo and summon Black rose or Psy-Framelord Delta. Although it is quite good for Synchro summoning, we often use it because of the main effect "To summon 1 more Speedroids from hand or grave", which can bring Speedroids Red-eyed Dice out of hand and continue the combo.
Not a card you'd want to see appear in your hand, but it can be tossed into the grave along with Wynn the Wind Channeler:
- Duke is in the grave for later use
- Search Speedroid Terrortop for combo
Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper (x1)
Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper
ATK:
1000
DEF:
1000
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can excavate cards from the top of your Deck equal to the number of other WIND monsters you control, add 1 excavated card to your hand, also place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Level 3 or higher WIND monster you control; reduce its Level by 2. You can only use each effect of "Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper" once per turn.
This card is another Tuner whose Level is really good for certain combos, mainly used to summon Synchros like Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake or Cyber Slash Harpie Lady . But its important use is that when summoned, you can send cards on top of your deck to the Graveyard equal to the number of Wind monsters OTHER than this card that you control. Meaning that it alone on the field cannot push any card to the grave, there isn't too much to say about this card as its GY effect doesn't appear often during any useful time.
Speedroid CarTurbo and Speedroid Horse Stilts (Optional)
Speedroid CarTurbo
ATK:
800
DEF:
1200
If you control a WIND monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can banish this card and 1 "Speedroid" monster from your GY; all WIND monsters you currently control gain 800 ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Speedroid CarTurbo" once per turn.
Speedroid Horse Stilts
ATK:
1100
DEF:
1100
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Speedroid" monster from your hand. During your Main Phase, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard; send 1 WIND monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. You can only use this effect of "Speedroid Horse Stilts" once per turn.

Core Archetypal Synchros
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon (x1)
Crystal Wing Synchro Dragon
ATK:
3000
DEF:
2500
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner Synchro Monsters Once per turn, when another monster's effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy that monster, and if you do that, this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK until the end of this turn. If this card battles an opponent's Level 5 or higher monster, during damage calculation: This card gains ATK equal to the current ATK of the opponent's monster it is battling during that damage calculation only.
This is the boss of the deck, it is like a terrorist descending from the sky. This card is what you strive for whenever it is your turn (to go first). Being able to negate a monster's effect and destroy that card makes this wall difficult to break, and 3000ATK and 2500 Def are the same stats as a certain white brick, which is also quite difficult to break. got over it. Usually, you'll see this appear with PSY-Framelord Zeta on the field on turn 1 or something else to add extra defense on turn 1.
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon (x1)
Clear Wing Synchro Dragon
ATK:
2500
DEF:
2000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, when another Level 5 or higher monster activates its effect on the field (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. Once per turn, when a monster effect is activated that targets 1 Level 5 or higher monster on the field (and no other cards) (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. If this card's effect destroys a monster, this card gains ATK equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK until the end of this turn.
Your trusty dragon doesn't usually stay on the field for too long, but he's a really good monster nonetheless although his negate ability isn't as strong as Crystal's. It can still attack depending on factors in Battle.
Hi-Speedroid Chanbara (x1)
Hi-Speedroid Chanbara
ATK:
2000
DEF:
1000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters This card can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles: It gains 200 ATK. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 of your banished "Speedroid" cards; add it to your hand. You can only Special Summon "Hi-Speedroid Chanbara(s)" once per turn.
1 Big Chanbara, although not a very important card in Archetype, has the ability to clear the game with 2 Attacks in 1 turn and also a buff of 200 ATK. Although not as important as the other leaves, they are useful in many cases.
Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake (x1)
Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake
ATK:
3000
DEF:
2800
1 WIND Machine Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate 1 of these effects; ● Destroy all other cards on the field. ● Negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls. If this card in your possession is sent to your GY by an opponent's card: You can add 1 "Speedroid" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake" once per turn.
If Crystal Wing is summoned when moving first, then Kitedrake summoned when walking must go last. This card has 2 cool effects that can overturn the board at any time: becoming a bomb that explodes all over the field but it is safe, the next effect is Negate all Face-up cards on the field. enemy .
One interesting thing that you need to know when OTK with this deck is that based on the Clear Wing Acceleration skill, we can create a Kitedrake link with Clearwing: by activating Kitedrake's explosion effect, then sending it to the grave through via Skill, Summon Clear Wing again from the grave. Then we will have 1 Clear Wing with 4100 ATK and an empty enemy field =))
Hi-Speedroid Puzzle (x1)
Hi-Speedroid Puzzle
ATK:
1300
DEF:
1600
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters At the start of the Damage Step, if this card battles a Special Summoned monster: You can make this card's ATK become double its current ATK until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card is in the Graveyard because this Synchro Summoned card was sent there from the field this turn: You can target 1 "Speedroid" monster in your Graveyard, except "Hi-Speedroid Puzzle"; add it to your hand.
This is another Synchro card that you won't use much. It is often used to regain Double Yoyo to prepare for the next turn or to continue Synchro to higher level monsters. Its effect doesn't have much to say and doesn't have much effect in real combat with this small amount of ATK. But there's no need to worry too much because it will leave the field quickly so we can Synchro.
Archetypal/ Non Archetypal Staples/ Supports
Optional
Wynn the Wind Channeler
ATK:
1850
DEF:
1500
(This card is always treated as a "Charmer" card.) You can discard this card and 1 other WIND monster; add 1 WIND monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand, except "Wynn the Wind Channeler", also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. When a WIND monster you control is destroyed by battle while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Wynn the Wind Channeler" once per turn.
In general, this pile is called "staples" and there isn't much to talk about except for Wynn. Wynn uses it to throw cards like Den-den Daiko Duke into the grave to prepare for later.
But note that Wynn will make you unable to use Monster Effects except Wind until the end of your turn and my own Skill will also make Wynn unable to summon it!
Some other Synchros can provide good support for Speedroids
Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow
ATK:
2800
DEF:
2000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters If this card was Synchro Summoned using a Synchro Monster as material, it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. You can only use each of the following effects of "Battlewasp - Hama the Conquering Bow" once per turn. ● When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can make all monsters your opponent currently controls lose 1000 ATK/DEF. ● At the end of your Battle Phase, if your opponent has not taken any battle damage this Phase: You can inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each "Battlewasp" monster in your GY.
Stardust Charge Warrior
ATK:
2000
DEF:
1300
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters When this card is Synchro Summoned: You can draw 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Stardust Charge Warrior" once per turn. This card can attack all Special Summoned monsters your opponent controls, once each.
PSY-Framelord Zeta
ATK:
2500
DEF:
1800
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters Once per turn, during either player's turn: You can target 1 Special Summoned monster your opponent controls in face-up Attack Position; banish both that monster and this card from the field, but return them in your next Standby Phase. If this card is in your Graveyard: You can target 1 other "PSY-Frame" card in your Graveyard; return this card to the Extra Deck, and if you do, add that target to your hand.
Skill
Clear Wing Acceleration (Skill Card) (100%)
Clear Wing Acceleration (Skill Card)
ATK:

DEF:

Each of the following effects can be used once per Duel. You cannot Normal or Special Summon any monsters except Synchro Monsters or WIND Dragon-Type/Machine-Type monsters during the Duel you activate this Skill. ● If you control "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon," play 1 "Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice" from your Deck or Graveyard to your field. ● Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck, and send 1 "Speedroid Red-Eyed Dice" or Synchro Monster to your Graveyard from your Deck or field. If you send a Synchro Monster to your Graveyard, play 1 "Clear Wing Synchro Dragon" from your Graveyard to your field. That monster gains ATK equal to the Level of the Synchro Monster you sent to your Graveyard x 200 until the end of the turn.
This is the deck's strongest skill as of the time of writing this article. In addition to being able to set up combos, it can also summon Red-eyed Dice from the Graveyard or Deck whenever Clear Wing is on the field.
