One of the strongest Ritual decks in Duellinks. When World Arc-V was released, this deck became very strong with a series of new supports, but it also suffered from attacks and Limits on some cards. However, this is still a deck worth playing and is among the Top decks according to statistics.
Nekroz is a deck that is not cheap to build completely, revolving around the Nekroz Ritual monsters. Nekroz Warrior monsters will often be summoned to the field like Big Bosses, while Nekroz Spellcasters will stay in the hand and perform their quick effects similar to hand traps.
The weakness of the deck is that it is quite fragile when facing backrows and the attack is not too large, but in return the ability to remove is very strong. Although we are weak when faced with too many backrows, we no longer have slots for tech cards like MST to clear the back deck because most of them are used for the deck's cores.
Overall rating: 7.5/10

Sections covered in this guide:
Skill
Master of Rites (Skill Card) (40%)
Master of Rites (Skill Card)
ATK:
0
DEF:
0
Can be used each time your Life Points decrease by 1000. Return 1 card from your hand to your Deck and choose 1 of the following: ● Add 1 random Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. ● Add 1 random Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand. This Skill can only be used twice per Duel.
It would be quite reasonable for a Ritual Deck to carry this skill. After receiving -1000 LP, we can exchange 1 card in our hand to get 1 ritual monster or 1 ritual spell. But this is quite random because sometimes we cannot get the leaves we want.
This skill can be used up to 2 times in 1 Duel hehe :)))
Master of Rites II (20%)
This skill is less used than the other two skills, but it is not a waste. Having a Ritual Cage protects our ritual monsters from Monster Effects while our Boss monsters are all Ritual monsters.
Sometimes when encountering odds like Relinquished, this skill will be the thing that saves your duel =))
Draw Sense: LIGHT (Skill Card) (40%)
Another skill is also very useful, used as much as Master of Rites 1. As we can see, our deck does not have any Light-type monsters at all, so when we activate the skill, the card we will draw is definitely Senju (a pro searcher of Ritual decks), and from there we can make play
Monster Cards

- Valkyrus is usually a safe choice to search because of its powerful effect to end the Battle Phase.
- If you already have Cycle/Mirror, look for Shurit.
- If Shurit and 1 Ritual Spell are in hand; Gungnir is good if you turn 1, while Trishula is good if you can activate it.
- If you already have a Nekroz monster on the field; Decisive Armor increases its ATK, Gungnir protects it from destruction, while Trishula negates cards that target your Nekroz monsters.

This card is limited because of its powerful hand effect to help survive and prevent a duel, which is what this card will primarily be used for.
But the good news is that this card has just been released from limit, now you can x3 it comfortably
Nekroz of Gungnir (x1)
Nekroz of Gungnir

Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz
ATK:
300
DEF:
1800
If you Ritual Summon exactly 1 "Nekroz" Ritual Monster with a card effect that requires use of monsters, this card can be used as the entire requirement. If this card is Tributed by a card effect: You can add 1 Warrior "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Shurit, Strategist of the Nekroz" once per turn.
Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands (x3)
To help retrieve Spell Ritual or Ritual monsters from the deck. It is also level 4, which can be used to ritual summon Valkyrus or Decesive Armor with another level 4 or Brionac in hand, but instead it is usually just used as a beater or rank 4 Xyz.
Senju of the Thousand Hands (x0-x1)
This card is much better to use than Sonic Bird because the deck's ritual monsters are more useful because their effects can activate in the hand. Search Brionac can lead to Shurit or any other ritual monster in the deck.
Wightprincess (x0-x1)
Wightprincess
ATK:
1600
DEF:
0
This card's name becomes "Skull Servant" while it is in the Graveyard. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can send 1 "Wightprince" from your Deck to the Graveyard. During either player's turn: You can send this card from your hand or field to the Graveyard; all monsters currently on the field lose ATK and DEF equal to their own Level/Rank x 300, until the end of this turn.
Versatile hand trap helps reduce enemy monster damage and defense
Spell
Nekroz Cycle (x2-x3)
Nekroz Cycle

Tribute monsters from your hand or field, then Ritual Summon 1 "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your hand or GY whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters. You can only use this effect of "Nekroz Cycle" once per turn. If you control no monsters: You can banish this card and 1 "Nekroz" monster from your GY; add 1 "Nekroz" Spell from your Deck to your hand.
Nekroz Mirror (x2)
Nekroz Mirror

Tribute monsters from your hand or field, and/or banish "Nekroz" monsters from your GY, then Ritual Summon 1 "Nekroz" Ritual Monster from your hand whose Level exactly equals the total Levels of those monsters. You can only use this effect of "Nekroz Mirror" once per turn. If you control no monsters: You can banish this card and 1 "Nekroz" monster from your GY; add 1 "Nekroz" Spell from your Deck to your hand.
Nekroz Kaleidoscope (x1)
Nekroz Kaleidoscope
This card can be used to Ritual Summon any number of "Nekroz" Ritual Monsters. Tribute 1 monster from your hand or field, or send 1 monster from your Extra Deck to the GY, also after that, Ritual Summon any number of "Nekroz" monsters whose total Levels exactly equal the Level of that monster. You can only use this effect of "Nekroz Kaleidoscope" once per turn. If you control no monsters: You can banish this card and 1 "Nekroz" monster from your GY; add 1 "Nekroz" Spell from your Deck to your hand.
Yep, we can absolutely use monsters in the extra deck as Ritual materials for Nekroz monsters through this card. It can even spam up to 2-3 Nekroz monsters at the same time. However, it also has many limitations when it cannot summon Ritual from the grave or take monsters from the grave as materials. Our extra slots will carry useful cards that do not have the appropriate Level number to summon Nekroz monsters, so this is also the reason we only need to x1 this card.
Extra deck
Fossil Warrior Skull Knight and Fossil Machine Skull Wagon (Fossil Support)
Fossil Warrior Skull Knight
ATK:
2400
DEF:
1100
1 Rock monster + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage. When this attacking card destroys a monster by battle: You can activate this effect; this card can make a second attack in a row. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 monster on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Fossil Warrior Skull Knight" once per turn.
Fossil Machine Skull Wagon
ATK:
1700
DEF:
1500
1 Rock monster in your GY + 1 Level 5 or 6 monster Must first be Special Summoned with "Fossil Fusion". This card can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: You can inflict 800 damage to your opponent. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Spell/Trap on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Fossil Machine Skull Wagon" once per turn.
We can spend 2 Extra deck slots for these 2 Fossil monsters without having to think too much. Not used to Fusion to punch each other, but we use these two cards to combine with Nekroz Kaleidoscope.
Constellar Ptolemy M7 (x1)
Constellar Ptolemy M7
ATK:
2700
DEF:
2000
2 Level 6 monsters You can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Constellar" Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material, other than "Constellar Ptolemy M7". (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If Summoned this way, the following effect cannot be activated this turn. Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster on the field or in either player's Graveyard; return that target to the hand.
Having these Xyz monsters can be useful if you need certain effects or if you want to spend more, more useful Trishula after its effect is used. Just remember that doing this means they are no longer Nekroz monsters, so you cannot use Nekroz monsters in your hand to protect them from destruction or target effects.
Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon (x1)
Monster Xyz ranked 4th nationally so far. Essentially, its effect allows you to deal 2500 damage (its own ATK) if it attacks a monster you have targeted. The advantage is that your opponent's monster's ATK is also lowered, allowing you to attack it with your other weaker monsters, especially as you can use Ultimate Pound to deal massive damage.
Number 70: Malevolent Sin (x1)
Number 70: Malevolent Sin
ATK:
2400
DEF:
1200
2 Level 4 monsters Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it until your opponent's next Standby Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can make this card gain 300 ATK, and if you do, increase its Rank by 3.
Works well against opponents with only 1 monster on the field. Even better if it's an XYZ monster as it will remove all of their materials, or if it's a monster say it can't be special summoned in the cardtext.
Abyss Dweller (x1)
Abyss Dweller
ATK:
1700
DEF:
1400
2 Level 4 monsters While this card has a material attached that was originally WATER, all WATER monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can detach 1 material from this card; your opponent cannot activate any card effects in their GY this turn.
Abyss Dweller is an interactive anti-Graveyard effect tech that prevents Decks from activating many effects from the graveyard. It's best to activate this eff at the start of your opponent's turn, so make sure to turn the Toggle "ON" and activate Abyss Dweller's effect during your opponent's Draw Phase.
Fairy Cheer Girl (x0-x1)
This card has higher ATK than Manju/Senju, can be used to clear your own field and also has the effect of drawing 1. Moreover, this is also a F2P card.
Daigusto Emeral (x1)
Summon Emeral using two Level 4 monsters such as Manju or Senju as materials. Emeral will then be used as a draw 1 tool and restore resources from the grave. Emeralds can help you restore monsters in your grave so you don't run out of resources.
Diamond Dire Wolf (x1)
If you already have 2 level 4 monsters on the field, you can Xyz this card to destroy your opponent's backrow before making play. This allows you to play safely instead of being interrupted by your opponent's traps.
Other cards option
Gishki Chain (x1)
Cosmic Cyclone (x1-x2)
Having a backrow remover can be useful as it allows you to deal with enemy Spells/Traps before you get squeezed by them, allowing you to play your turns more safely. Cosmic Cyclone works best with decks that pay LP, which will allow you to activate the ability to get a Ritual Spell/Monster. You can even use it twice per turn if you use the ability after taking damage (or from Cosmic Cyclone before), then recast Cosmic Cyclone to lose another 1000 to use the skill again.
Number 9: Dyson Sphere (x0-x1)
Number 9: Dyson Sphere
ATK:
2800
DEF:
3000
2 Level 9 monsters Once per Battle Step, during your opponent's turn, if this card with Xyz Material is attacked: Negate the attack (this is a Quick Effect). When this card is targeted for an attack while it has no Xyz Materials: You can target 2 monsters in your Graveyard; attach those targets to this card as Xyz Materials. During your Main Phase 1: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; this card can attack your opponent directly this turn. Your opponent must control a monster with higher ATK than this card for you to activate and to resolve this effect.
Since Trishula's effect only works when summoned, there's no good reason to keep it on the field after the effect wears off. You can use them to Xyz into Number 9 if you need an attack blocker or if you know you're facing a deck that can summon monsters with 2800+ ATK.
