How to play Galaxy Tachyon
Sections covered in this guide:
Skill
Barian Battlemorph! Galaxy-Eyes acts as the "heart" of the Tachyon deck's entire strategy, with two extremely powerful effects that ensure both stability and finishing potential:
Right on your first turn, you are allowed to reveal one "Tachyon" card or one Tier 8 Dragon monster from your hand to directly summon Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon ( you can also summon additional Light or Dark-type Dragon monsters such as Levianeer to clear the board, or Starliege Seyfert , Nebula Dragon to further expand your combo ). This creates absolute stability, making it easy for you to execute a one-card combo to summon Tier 8 Xyz Boss monsters along with your Trap cards.
Draw Sense Ultimate (Going Second / Next Turn): On your next turn (or even on your first turn if you go second), this skill allows you to transform into Barian and ensures your draw is definitely the Rank-Up-Magic Spell Card - The Seventh One . This is the core "turnaround" card to directly summon Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon , nullifying the entire board and preventing your opponent from activating any effects.
Thanks to this skill, Tachyon can easily play through interruptions (like Effect Veiler) and always has ample resources available to overwhelm opponents in subsequent turns.

Spell/Trap
Extra Deck
The "Destruction" card offers the ultimate finishing power. It's often summoned incredibly easily via the Rank-Up-Magic spell card - The Seventh One . This monster can detach an ingredient to negate all other cards on the field and prevent the opponent from activating any card effects. Once this effect is successful, the opponent is completely locked down and unable to retaliate.
Combo/How to play
1. Basic Combo 1 Card (Starting with Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon)
Activate the Skill to acquire the Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon.
Activate Infinity Dragon from your hand, Special Summon it, and Galactic Spiral Dragon from your deck.
Use 2 Xyz Summon monsters to summon Number 46: Dragluon.
Use the Dragluon effect to find Tachyon Cloud Dragon and add it to your hand.
Summon Cloud Dragon, sacrifice it to call Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Primal from the deck.
Primal effect activated, search for Tachyon Transmigration traps and put them in your hand.
Activate the Dragluon effect (separates 2 materials), summon Hope Harbinger Dragon Titanic Galaxy from the Extra Deck, and attach Galaxy Satellite Dragon as the material.
Activate Galactic Spiral Dragon from the Graveyard to revive itself and bring it to the field.
Xyz Summon Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon (provides the condition to activate a trap from your hand is met).
2. Combo that plays through Effect Veiler / Impermanence
Use a Skill or Search Spell to obtain the Schwarzschild Infinity Dragon and Starliege Seyfert.
Special Summon Infinity Dragon and Galactic Spiral Dragon from the deck.
Normal Summon Starliege Seyfert.
Using the Seyfert effect, sacrifice Spiral Dragon to search for Nebula Dragon (or Tachyon Dragon).
Activate Spiral Dragon in the Graveyard to revive yourself, then use its effect to transform Seyfert into a Level 8.
Use Seyfert and Spiral Dragon Xyz Summon directly to summon Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon.
Special Summon Tachyon Primal from your hand to find the Trap (At this point, even if Dragluon is disabled later, you are still safe from the trap and the Boss).
3. Combo play around Nibiru (Limited to under 5 summons)
Summon the first monster and observe the game lag to confirm your opponent doesn't have an Effect Veiler.
Follow the basic steps to Xyz Summon Number 46: Dragluon (this is your 3rd summon).
Use the Dragluon effect to directly search for Trap cards (instead of taking Cloud Dragon to expand).
Use Dragluon's effect to separate materials and directly summon Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon from the Extra Deck (this is the 4th summon).
End your turn or wait until your opponent's Draw Phase to Special Summon Tachyon Primal from your hand to find a second trap (ensure you never reach the 5 summon limit in your turn).
4. Going Second / On-Time Deal Combo
Use Quick-Play Spells/Traps (Droplet, Eclipse, Imperm) during the Draw/Standby Phase to force or destroy your opponent's board early.
At the very beginning of Main Phase 1 (the first action), activate Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One (obtained through a Skill).
Summon Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon, then it will automatically upgrade to Neo Galaxy-Eyes Tachyon Dragon.
Detach 1 of Neo Tachyon's materials to disable the entire field and prevent the opponent from activating their effects.
Use the Search skill to find additional resources (Seyfert, Nebula, Levianeer) to deploy more monsters.
Place Galaxy-Eyes Full Armor Photon Dragon on top of Tachyon Dragon (separate materials to destroy 1 face-up card).
- Place Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon on top of Full Armor (separate the materials to destroy any 1 card) and deliver the finishing blow.
5. Dragon Lock Combo (Anti-Dragon Lock)
Use this when facing Mirror Match (Tachyon vs Tachyon) or Branded matches.
Summon Number 46: Dragluon (Ensure there are no other monsters on the field).
