Target 1 "Bujin" monster on the field; apply this effect to it for the rest of this turn. Each time it destroys a monster by battle whose current ATK is greater than or equal to the targeted monster's original ATK, and sends it to the Graveyard: Banish the destroyed monster, and if you do, banish all monsters from your opponent's hand, Main Deck, Extra Deck, and Graveyard with the same name that the destroyed monster had in the Graveyard.
Bujintervention — Power Evaluation
Final Score: 33 ± 8 · Confidence: Medium
- Intrinsic: 37 · Deck: 33 · Meta: provisional
- Primary role: Utility · Secondary: Board breaker, Removal
Why it scores here
Bujintervention is a conditional Normal Spell whose value depends on a battle: it must target a Bujin monster already on the field, and only a battle destruction against a monster with ATK at or above the target's original ATK triggers the banish and the same-name hate. The card reliably converts only when that battle happens, so its score stays in the low-mid range. High ATK-based expectations earn nothing here; the single attached deck and absent combo data keep accessibility and combo conversion modest.
Axis scores
| Axis | Score | Evidence |
|---|---|---|
| Accessibility | 35 | Spell in hand, but it needs a Bujin monster on the field and a battle to pay off; one attached deck, so route count is unverified (inferred). |
| Combo & Conversion | 30 | No recorded combo boards, so conversion beyond the text-described battle trigger is unknown (inferred). |
| Resource Economy | 35 | Spends a card and draws nothing; the banish of opponent same-name copies is hate value rather than net advantage (verified text, inferred value). |
| Effect & Interaction | 40 | Opponent same-name banish from hand, Deck, Extra Deck and Graveyard is real disruption but only after a qualifying battle (verified text, inferred strength). |
| Material Utility | 20 | A Spell has no material body value, so this axis is low by construction (verified card type). |
| Resilience & Flexibility | 25 | The granted effect lasts only the rest of the turn and needs a live Bujin monster and battle, so it is fragile to negation and board wipes (inferred). |
| Deck-Building Efficiency | 55 | Single copy, no garnets or locks, but archetype-restricted to Bujin support (observed one deck, inferred restriction). |
Calculation
Weight profile: Utility / no clear role (default) weights; secondary roles not blended because the card is niche and evidence is thin. Intrinsic ≈ 37, Deck ≈ 33, Meta = provisional. Modifiers: archetype-restricted utility (-2). Final formula: 0.40*Intrinsic + 0.60*Deck
Strengths
- Battle-triggered same-name banish of opponent copies is a clean, hard-to-reach hate effect when the trigger lands
- Spell card with no garnet cost and single-copy use
- Targets an existing Bujin monster, so it can convert a normal battle into extra disruption
Weaknesses
- Requires a Bujin monster on the field plus a qualifying battle before any value appears
- Gives no card draw or search; spends a card for a conditional effect
- Effect ends at the end of the turn and is fragile to negation or removal of the target
Counters / choke points
- Negating the Spell before the battle, or removing the Bujin monster on the field
- Opponent avoiding battle or keeping monsters with ATK above the target's original ATK
Best use
Situational battle-trigger hate and extension on a Bujin monster. Decks: Bujin (single attached deck, archetype label listed as Không có). Suggested copies: 1.
Evidence & gaps
- Verified: Spell card type, Normal race, Bujin archetype label, and the targeting and battle-trigger wording from card text; Single attached deck running one copy, with Bujin partners
- Observed: One attached deck (2022-10-17) with 100% of partners Bujin cards; no combo appearances or guides
- Inferred: Battle-trigger conditions make the card situational rather than a reliable start; Hate value against opponent same-name copies is strong only when the trigger lands; Negation or removal of the target before battle shuts the effect down
- Data gaps: no combos supplied — combo conversion is text-only inference no guides supplied no banlist token — assumed 3 copies (unlimited) no usage statistics (StatisticsCard) — archetype inclusion % inferred from deck sample only single attached deck with archetype label Không có, so archetype home is unverified against the Bujin card field
