Mikanko - a new archetype has just been released in OCG with outstanding features combining all 3 playstyles: Damage Counter + Equip Spell + Ritual. Quite outstanding, isn't it? But how to build, how to combo?

Do you think this article will guide both of the above issues? No no no, this is not my part :v The full article will be updated after YGO Vietnam launches the OCG/TCG platform :") Please wait!
But if you want to know briefly about the basic combos as well as the basic Decklist of the deck, I will give you a little tease. Just a little because honestly I don't know much about Mikanko :v I'm just like you :>
Not much to discuss, below is the basic combo as well as the decklist that I compiled from RespectYGO (don't judge :v I'm just like you guys but I'm very sensitive to updating information)
About basic combos:
- First, use Mikanko of the Oohime 's effect to search for The Great Mikanko of Legend then discard 1 card. You can skip this step if you already have The Great Mikanko of Legend .
- Then, use The Great Mikanko of Legend 's effect to special summon Mikanko of the Oohime from your hand and ignore its summoning condition.
- Next, banish The Great Mikanko of Legend by using its effect to send Arabesque of the Mikanko from the Deck to the GY.
- Finally, use Mikanko of the Oohime 's effect to equip Arabesque of the Mikanko on itself. Use Equip Spell to special summon Hare or Nini from your deck then return Oohime to you. If you special summon Hare, it can also search for an additional Mikanko Equip Spell back to your hand because it is equipped with Arabesque of the Mikanko . A good target is Blazing Dance of the Mikanko (so you can summon Nini this time) or Purifying Dance of the Mikanko and equip it to Hare for extra defense. If you're doing that, might as well just summon Nini as it can control your opponent's monsters when equipped with Arabesque.

Details:
- This deck focuses on accessing Mikanko of the Oohime as soon as possible, which is why there are 3 Preparation of Rites and 3 Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands for at least 9 starting cards (including Oohime ).
- Kshatri-La Fenrir is a great engine in the current OCG and can act as a target for Arabesque or a level 6 ritual material for Oohime. Pretty good for not being brought in as a beater while Nini acts as your disruptor.
- Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju is a 3300 ATK Kaiju that you can combine with Arabesque. I choose 3300 ATK so that the damage I can deal to my opponent is greater when I reflect damage with Nini and Hare.
- Each Equip Spell other than Arabesque is for selection only. Based on testing, Mikanko Trap is quite slow in practice so can be ignored.
- The idea is to prevent your opponent from summoning monsters because that's where you get the advantage when damaging or controlling them with Nini and Kshatri-La Fenrir.
- The weakness of this deck is mainly the backrow type because Nini and Hare without equipment are almost game over. This deck also lacks pushing power unless your opponent summons a monster or you have Kshatri-La Fenrir early in the game.
